Spend your days hiking, golfing, and taking scenic drives, and your evenings barbecuing on the spacious, shaded deck.
This two-story home sits on half an acre of land a few blocks from the center of Stevenson, a small riverfront town with several restaurants, taprooms, and conveniences. Loved this house! We weren’t there a whole lot but it had pretty much everything we needed! Lots of room. Loved all the remodeled bathrooms. Kitchen was great.

Overall, this home was pretty much what we expected. We were all very happy to be here for the weekend.
Information for those coming to this home:
There was fairly good internet and a beautiful view of the Columbia River from the living room.
Opening and locking the main door was a real test of patience. No matter which person was using the code to get in, it was usually at least four tries before we entered. There are no instructions on locking the door, so we did fiddle just enough to think it was locked before driving away.
We were there during most meals, but we were disappointed there was only one bowl big enough to hold a salad or vegetable. No meat platters or casseroles. The cookie/baking sheets were terribly greasy. Everything else worked well and were very nice.

Great place to stay for all of us out of towners coming for a family wedding. Plenty of room to spread out but also to be together and socialize.

This home is walkable to restaurants, the grocery store and a cute business area.
The home is comfortable and especially nice for two families with its second living area and kitchen. Having 3 bathrooms is very nice as well.
The home is well stocked with supplies, plenty of linens and we found everything we needed in the kitchen.
While at the house we enjoyed playing games they supplied and watching passing deer from the porch. A very nice experience at Del Ray Retreat.

Great place! Will be back. Please cut tree branches and bushes back from entrance and parking. Buy higher quality toilet paper.

This was so much more space than we expected! Exceeded expectations. The kids room with all of the toys was especially appreciated

I am a local who rented this home to have space for my adult children to come from all over the country to celebrate my son’s birthday. The home was spacious, private and exactly what we needed. Central to restaurants and hiking. Would definitely recommend this home to families with young adults, as the downstairs was its own little apartment.

We had a great stay in this home! It was bigger than we expected and it offered all we needed in terms of privacy for each family at bedtime with the different levels, necessary kitchen and pantry basics, and spacious areas for our kids to play up- and downstairs. Everything was clean with nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Stevenson is a sweet little town and we were able to walk out the front door to the school playground and then down the hill to the waterfront in no time. The property and location were quiet with the occasional train in the background. Would recommend as a great place to stay in the gorge!

The pictures do not do this property justice. The trees, landscaping and gardening surrounding the property were so beautiful. The property was immaculate, spacious and private. The house itself was the same. These owners really care about their home and the renters experience. It had everything you needed and more and was well thought out. The beds were comfortable (thank goodness!). This was just a blessing for us and we didn’t want to leave.
