The lovely lawned cottage garden, adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, is ideal for guests with dogs. The garden also features a charming decking area, perfect for al fresco dining, taking advantage of the gas BBQ, or enjoying a refreshing drink while soaking in the tranquil ambiance. Beyond the garden lies a pony paddock, offering a picturesque backdrop with views towards Shirley and Hollington.
The immediate surrounding area of Rodsley offers a wealth of activities and attractions to enhance your holiday experience. Lace up your walking shoes and explore the stunning countryside surrounding Rodsley along some of the many public footpaths. The walk to Osmaston through Shirley Woods is a particular beauty, and with a drink at the local pub when you get there. Beyond Ashbourne, take a leisurely stroll along the nearby trails, such as the Tissington Trail or at Dovedale and soak in the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park. If you’re an adventure enthusiast, you’ll find plenty to do in the area. Engage in exhilarating activities such as cycling, horseback riding, or even hot-air ballooning to appreciate the breath-taking views from above.
