We made our own so it was great!
The ants and the cockroach weren’t welcome. Driveway was quite tight and hard to see. Some lighting or other marking would have helped. Some porch furniture would have been nice. Great space but no where to sit. The light on the fan over the table didn’t work and the fan on the light in the middle bedroom couldn’t be turned off separately from the fan.
The management company was less than stellar. I had to contact them on arrival in Honolulu for the door code, receiving the response that “we need the deposit before we can give you that information” (the deposit was sent, received and verified by email 6+ weeks prior). Did get the information after several more texts verifying money was sent. Then it took over a week of back and forth to get my deposit refunded. Not impressed.

Spacious, comfortable, good beds and water pressure. Great spot opposite a beach. Great spot for driving to North Shore or down south. We drove to the Lanikai Pillbox Box walk one day but most days drove to the North Shore Beaches. Swam jn the beach over the road. Usually had it to ourselves. No complaints about the house. We were there in October and is was fine with the fans supplied and doors open.
Only reason place didn’t get a ten was because we did not receive check-In notification until after 4pm on the day we were checking in. I rang the number on Booking.con multiple times with no answer. Eventually had to call Booking.com customer services who agreed we had not received notification and could not contact owner either. Eventually we had an email and got in but the stress spoilt the checkin process

There was a clear effort to make this unit comfy and welcoming, from cold drinks in the fridge, to plentiful towels, to easy entry with a provided door code and garage code. Good clear instructions with a photo of the building that was necessary to find it in the dark (we arrived late). Large, comfortable, and well laid out for a family or perhaps three couples. Nice patio facing the rear of the unit and a small patio facing the front with washer/dryer closet. Host was a good communicator via email/text the couple of times we needed to interact. There is a 7-11 within walking distance if you want to grab snacks, and a collection of food trucks a mile or so by car. The beach is across the road, and you have a view of sand and ocean from the kitchen window or front porch/patio. Not a lot else around here. It's about 45 minutes into Honolulu and restaurants/shopping/sights there, but this location is a nice compromise if you prefer to be outside the congestion of the city and want some access to the North Shore. I would totally come back here if on Oahu again. For a nice place with 3 bedrooms it's very reasonable.
The lack of chairs/table on the patios is an odd omission. It can get a little warm and humid (no AC) but opening all windows and turning on the ceiling fans make it pleasant enough. There is some traffic noise from the street, especially if a motorcycle gang is riding by on a weekend morning, but that's not to be helped. The garage door code worked well until the last night, so we parked in the driveway in front of the garage that night.

Close to the beach and hiking area.
Noisy as the house next to the street can hear traffic.
Window and door screen were broken and mosquitoes and flies were everywhere.
Windows were super dirty so could not view outside.

Updated and pretty. Great location!
It desperately needs AC for when the winds aren’t blowing.
