Kate is a fantastic host
Nothing that I can think of

Lovely big old property & huge garden space with a hot tub, although I think an additional charge of £30 is a little steep which put us off using it, if it had been nite reasonable then we’d definitely have used it! Nice homemade granola & sourdough toast & marmalade for breakfast.
Great big bedrooms although I think in the second back bedroom, this would benefit from a king size bed. Also I think Kate should get a key safe fitted as this would be a much safer option & we found ourselves locked out on our return from the pub & unfortunately had to ring the doorbell.

Firstly, I did comment soon after staying as I was thrilled to have found Kate's home. I had some trepidation about parking as I don't travel light and the weather was not great on my trip. Parking was tight but I got a spot right bang in front of the house. Everything about my stay was lovely. Hostess - the one other guest at the time, another woman. The house, as I told Kate, has a lovely peaceful vibe.

Perfect location for my needs. (Attending a course around the corner). Stayed in a lovely large bedroom, with amazing heating and natural light. Breakfast necessities readily available and accommodating to all potential needs. The homemade, cosy feel that created is amazing and thorough; only detracted by the cleanliness-How can it feel like home, yet be so clean?!
Decorated tastefully, but not sparce. (Absolute selling point for me!)
Kate was very friendly and approachable. A wonderful, mutli-talented host, whose extra care is shown through the homemade sourdough, jams, and fresh milk for my tea addiction!
I particularly enjoyed the bath, it was a huge selling point for me. But I will return for the serenity and peace. Lovely break, even if it was for a work course. Thank you, Kate!
I wish I could have stayed longer once I arrived;
I was originally worried about negotiating the shared bathroom, but I left feeling so revitalised and relaxed. It was not an issue, with Kate's dutiful care and communication, I felt safe in the shared environment.
If I were nitpicking, maybe I was expecting more storage space for clothes, etc (though, living out of a suitcase was perfectly agreeable and hardly a hardship).

The experience what it is like to live in a beautiful British townhouse. Tastefully decorated.
When traveling with a baby it is a bit cramped.

The room was clean and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. Robes, teas and coffee making facilities were good too. The inclusion of breakfast at this price was a bonus, freshly made sourdough bread, jam, cereal, yoghurt, juice, etc. It was also nice to meet the couple staying in the other room. The whole experience was relaxed, friendly and homely. This is not a hotel, it's two rooms in a large Victorian house, so that's what you get. We enjoyed our stay, enjoyed chatting with Kate (our host) and would return.
Considering the quality of the room and the convenience of parking on the street outside the property and then walking into Stroud, it's hard to find fault with our stay. While not a criticism, I feel it's worth mentioning that the room does not include a television. When we go away for the weekend, it's a guilty pleasure to indulge in some mindless TV whilst we get ready to go out for the evening. We should have paid closer attention to the list of facilities and brought a laptop with us (WiFi is excellent). It's a pretty room that might be spoilt by a TV, so, I'm not suggesting that one should be added, but I wanted to mention it for the benefit of future guests who make assumptions.

Great location, lovely property, great friendly host, comfortable, easy to come and go as you please, lovely breakfast, had every thing one could need, I would highly recommend
I have an Estate car (so long) and it was a little difficult to park.

Everything, Kate was a lovely host, the house was glorious, breakfast options were plentiful, bedroom was mahoosive. She catered for the arrival of my baby at the drop of a hat (for some reason, booking.com didn't transfer that information as part of the booking)

It was nice and relaxed with a DIY breakfast when we wanted it and no rush. Lovely old house with lots of interest and Kate was a very friendly host. Room very spacious and comfortable bed.
Only slight downside is parking on a bit of a tricky road - but certainly not enough to deter us from returning.

Room was really nice, and everything was clean. Kate was a great host and made sure I had everything I needed (breakfast is homemade sourdough and granola, there's tea and coffee I'm the rooms). Overall really enjoyed it.

It’s in a beautiful private home. Nice big room and great breakfast ( vegan possible/ home made bread and jellies). Everything we needed . Home away from home. We also used the jacuzzi in the garden. What a treat! Kate is a super hostess

Felt like home from the minute we walked in. Kate is a great host. First time sharing a bathroom in ages but it was fine and the bathroom itself was lovely. Breakfast was delicious - mostly homemade - and it was nice just to help ourselves. The room was really comfortable and tastefully decorated. Thank you.
We hadn't realised there was a shared bathroom or no TV- our fault for making assumptions - but it was not actually a problem and was rather nice. Only thing was that the bath was really tempting but we didn't want to luxuriate in there in case someone wanted the toilet! Hardly a problem, though, and the shower was lovely.
It was a bit of a trek into town as Stroud is very hilly, but not a problem if fit and mobile - just a bit tiring for me due to a minor mobility problem.

The room and the house are very well furnished (stylish indeed!), the bed was super comfortable and the host Kate was really very welcoming. Breakfast was very nice with good selection of high-quality products
The bathroom is shared, but only with another guest couple and it was so clean that it's hard to complain about it.

Amazing communication, atmosphere and breakfast. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything is just perfect.
Morning weather. Kate, you should do something with it 😜

Beautiful, stylish property amongst beautiful surroundings. Had a lovely painted mural on the walls of my room ( room was exactly like the photo).
Kate's customer service exceeded my expectations and she went out of my way to see that my stay was a great one. Good continental breakfast with tasty fresh bread!
