The largest of our luxurious barns, Great East sits at the southern point of our ancient flint buildings. Set out across two floors, the airy architecture of this magnificent barn forms the focal point of its design, with clean lines and a vibrant palette.
Each bedroom has its own distinct colour scheme, incorporating fabrics by Flora Soames throughout. A master suite with a four-poster bed and its own roll-top bath sits opposite a twin room upstairs, while five cosy bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, each one with its own ensuite bathroom or shower room.
With bright, sweeping communal spaces, Great East is designed with entertaining in mind. Gather around the wood burner in the huge living room, taking in immersive views of the Stiffkey River as you settle in for an evening together. Or retreat for a quiet afternoon with a book in our relaxed TV area downstairs.
Cook up a storm as you chat to friends in the open-plan kitchen and enjoy sundowners in your own private garden, with an outdoor dining table that overlooks the meadows beyond. Celebrate with meals around the oak dining table, seating 14, or, if you’ve booked two barns, extend it for up to 22 for a true gathering to remember. Comfortable, chic and designed for an incredibly sociable experience, this luxury self-catering barn is a true one-off.
