ABOUT OUR HOME, "Wood River Retreat":
Imagine returning from an epic day of skiing to this fabulous contemporary home, soothing your sore muscles in its private spa followed by a glass of wine fireside listening to your favorite tunes on SONOS. This stunning west-facing mountain view property is located in charming Ketchum, mere steps to the River Run Lodge gondola and ski lifts, and within walking distance to town. In summer, guests will love the adjacent bike bath and proximity to Sun Valley's numerous trails and other attractions.
On the main floor of this vacation retreat is a breathtaking open-concept space where guests can spend quality time. The living, dining, and kitchen areas all come together beautifully with a stylish design and wooden shutters. Guests will find a luxurious kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances and other essential amenities, along with a 4-stool breakfast bar. Host an intimate dinner party at the 8-seat dining table with access to beautiful views from a private deck replete with a gas grill and furniture. A spacious living room includes 2 armchairs, leather couch, fireplace, and Smart TV. The home is stocked with classic board games, certain to please guests of all ages, including an xBox in the first level bedroom.
A spectacular master bedroom with fireplace and a guest bedroom with office/desk, both with private bathrooms and Smart TV's, are on the third floor. Along the outside of this lovely mountain home is a private sitting spa with stone backsplash and wood backdrop for privacy.
An oversized garage conveniently opens to the ground-level entryway, large and tall enough for today's SUVs. The bedroom on this level features a split King bed (convertible to 2 Twin XL's), Smart TV, and xBox. An adjacent full bathroom, mud room and laundry area are located off the hallway of this floor.
And running throughout Wood River Retreat is a captivating combination of contemporary cool, exposed wood beams and gorgeous cathedral ceilings that give it an elegant yet homey atmosphere. This lovely escape is truly one-of-a-kind that will book fast!
