We had the best time at this house, the location was great and had plenty of amenities. We would park our boat down in the cove and leave it overnight and no issues. We went fishing, Kayaking and made s’mores on the fire pit. Kitchen is small but we cooked outside the whole time and would enjoy breakfast on the outside table. It was nice, and there is plenty of room. We had a great time and would recommend this property to anyone.

We really enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed, and the private room off by itself was perfect for our toddler grandson and his parents.
The best thing about this property was the poor phone signal. Phones were put away and we enjoyed each other’s company! I think many of us would have been distracted if there had been a better signal. :)

Love this house! It’s like a treehouse, secluded but still close to all conveniences. Walk right to the lake, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Love being kinda off grid with no internet so the kids are off their devices. I actually watched movies with my teens at night from there awesome DVD collection. This is by far my favorite house to rent. It has everything you need to cook, grill, play in the lake. We had no problems at all, communication was great and loved our stay.

This cabin is absolutely stunning. It is modern, yet full of that cabin vibe. Great private lake access. Close to crystal mines. There was plenty of space. Nobody bothered us all 5 days. The host was super sweet and helpful. We got to bring our dogs which was amazing. I will definitely go back!

It is remote in a great way. The trees are tall, it’s quiet and peaceful. The access to lake is close. Everything worked in the house. It’s a charming and unique building. Works great for a group. Beds were great. Showers and bathrooms were excellent. The owner communicated and easy to get a hold of. It was a short drive into hotsprings and enjoyed the Quapaw bath house. We would use the house again.

The house was just wonderful. So many bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen.
Beautiful surroundings with the creek and the lake.
We were there for a Reiki Retreat and felt the Spiritual energy of the whole place. Hope we added to the powerful energy of the land.

The location is great. Secluded to allow for group of people. Kayaks and outside fire pit area was awesome for our group. Nice to have plenty of beds. Small kitchen and living room for large group. We enjoyed our stay Hosts were great.

Nice location, very private. Lovely linens and plenty of nice towels. We all enjoyed a lot but two comments should be addressed. There were only 6 coffee mugs so if you advertise for large groups there is not an adequate supply.
Also glasses and wine glasses are not adequate. There is no counter prep space. Especially for a group. We found the folding table outside, scrubbed it and brought it in to use for prep and buffet table. Other than those items it's lovely. Thank you.

We had 9 adults and 6 motorcycles on this trip. The rock driveway was a challenge on motorcycles, but we managed it okay. The house and property were perfect! The beds were super comfortable too! We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful property for a large group. We found lots of activities nearby.
Property was well equipped & had good beds & linens.
For some, lack of cable might be an issue but lots of videos & fire pit.

The hosts were communicative and ensured we had a smooth check in. The property was absolutely magical. It was perfect for our large group with plenty of spaces to sleep. Showers were nice and there was plenty of hot water to go around. It was very clean. The property was incredible. Even better than we expected. Short walk to the lake. Lots of outdoor patio space to hang out. I wish we could have stayed longer and cant wait to go back!

Unique cabin on Ouachita with easy foot access to boat! Party barge easy to pull in by water even with low lake water level. Everything you need is already at the cabin, enjoyed the huge charcoal grill and fire pit! One morning we sat under the covered patio and listened to the rain fall through the old growth, tall tree canopy above. Plenty of parking for everyone and trailers! Definitely would stay here again! Everyone loved it!

We held our family reunion here. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. There were only two things we didn’t like. #1 No wifi and poor cell phone coverage. #2 if you sleep in the bottom master bedroom there is no bedroom door—therefore no privacy and no way to shut out noise. Plus you have to walk through another bedroom to access the bathroom. A bit awkward in the middle of the night. Impossible to sleep or nap if others are awake.

The property was in a nice, quiet location. All of my grands had a great time. The 3 little ones were able to play on the patio in a blow up kiddie pool we brought.
There was plenty of room to accommodate all of us with room leftover!
Would stay every weekend if it were possible!

Rustic cabin in the woods. This is perfect for the outdoorsy people! They have so much to do and having lake access is a huge plus! We had a little rain and having the movies and board games was a big help keeping everyone occupied. The owners give you a ton of information about the places nearby. They have thought of everything. One bit of advice they should add to the listing: if you have a bigger vehicle or are pulling a boat or trailer, use the 2nd entrance onto the final road. That gives you a straight shot into the driveway instead of a very hard turn.

Greta property! Rustic but with everything that’s needed. Perfect for a little R and R !!!

Met family here for a central location where we could get together without being in public areas due to our mother being an elderly cancer patient.
LOTS of room, more beds than we needed but it’s nice to see a place that’s so family/ larger gathering friendly. Great location too with a pretty, quiet and short stroll down to the lake.
It is a quirky house with lots of odd little surprises areas and odd layout. Younger kids will LOVE it.

This house is nestled in the first just feet from the lake. It's far enough from the highway to be quiet and close enough to be convenient. Inside and outdoor spaces to eat and commune. Absolutely prefect for us. Can't recommend enough. We even got to meet Toni in town at Hot Springs. She was very responsive and accommodating.

We recently stayed at this VRBO property and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The location was absolutely amazing - it was convenient to all of the activities we had planned for our group. With plenty of space to sleep 16 people comfortably, it was the perfect rental for our large group.
One of the best parts of the home was all of the outdoor activities available for the kids - they had a blast! From kayaking to exploring the surrounding forest and hunting quartz, there was never a dull moment for them.
But what really made our stay special was the incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available to answer any questions we had. I've rented vacation homes for years and I can honestly say that their communication was the best I've ever experienced.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Gnome Home rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and fun-filled vacation. Thanks again to the hosts for making our stay so memorable

Everything was nice ! There was a lot of room for the 13 of us. In the cabin outside get plenty of wood because the heater didn’t get as hot as it should have. Overall it was great for the family!

Every year we have a girls trip. This cabin was beyond what we expected. Very roomy, clean. The host responded very quickly to my questions. Even though it rained the whole weekend we still had a great time. The only problem that was annoying ( not the hosts fault) was the acorns falling. We heard it day and night very load on the medal roof and cars! We walked to the cove. We saw an eagle. First night wasn’t raining so we had a fire they provided the firewood. While sitting around the fire a salamander came to visit us, that was cool!! We would definitely come back to this beautiful cabin. Thank you Toni and Berry for letting us stay at your cabin! ☺️

The property is amazing and huge. You cant beat the sceanery at this place exspeically the lake views. Everyone who was staying with us couldnt stop talking about how beautiful it was. The house was big enough to meet all our needs and more. Everything was perfect that we didnt need to bother the host for anything. We were happy from the start of our arrival to the end. Everyone was sad we had to leave the place. Will be coming back to enjoy this property again. Gnome house was/is magical. Thank you Toni and Barry!

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well stocked! Needed an easier to use bedside lamp in the cabin. But all in all we had a great time. A/C worked well and the fans helped a great deal to get it cooled down.
Thank you for that!

When we arrived on this property the fist thing you see is the gnomes and the wet weather creek and then you make the turn and see the lake and the house. We have a family vacation every labor day. And we always go to the beach. This was our first year to try a lake. The hosts were very accommodating we asked for a very early check in and they agreed. Lots of towels and plenty for the kids to do. If the kids are board that's their own fault. Labor day opening football games was a real challenge to watch with no WIFI But that gave them a reason not to watch the games and have fun with us. We all had a ton of fun, its rustic and lived in which made it easier to bring the kids. Thanks for everything we will highly recommend this home to anyone.
