Lovely, cosy hotel on the edge of Settle. Service was fantastic and the food hearty.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of October, the hotel was very inviting with candles lit throughout the hallway creating a lovely ambience and this was followed with a very warm welcome.
The decoration throughout the hotel was of a high standard and our room had the most stunning views. We didn't dine that evening as we had decided to walk into the beautiful village of Settle (approx. 5-7 min walk), we did have drinks back at the hotel later in the evening which was a bonus. The breakfast was up there with the best I have ever eaten. It really was absolutely delicious.
We will definitely book again in the near future.

Location was good as I was doing a walk locally but the hotel felt a little dated. Would have liked a bit more food at breakfast, only one piece of bacon.

The Falcon Manor Hotel was very convenient for our concert on Settle. The building is impressive, the staff are very friendly, there is plenty of parking and we had a very enjoyable stay.

An enjoyable stay overall. The dinner menu was limited and unchanging and there was a feel that there wasn’t enough staff. Staff that were present were friendly and helpful but were rushed.

fabulous staff great hotel great breakfast

Lovely hotel, nice staff, our room looked over a bin store which could have been avoided with some bin screens.
Evening meal and breakfast was ok, both overcooked or hot held to long. Would return if in the area as the room price was good.

We had a one night stay with our dog. The hotel felt warm and welcoming. All the staff were very friendly and efficient and made a fuss of our little pooch. The rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was lovely and even our dog her own sausage on a garnished plate.

Wonderful hotel in an beautiful setting in the Yorkshire Dales just outside Settle.
We were upgraded to a room with a view of the gardens and a four poster bed.
Really friendly staff throughout the stay, with a great breakfast served the next day.

From checking in to checkout the staff were brilliant. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed through serious bad weather and even with staff going early to ensure they got home those that stayed were attentive, polite and ensured nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

The property was fantastic, but it was the friendliness of the staff that made the stay.

The drains are almost clogged, and there was a back flush from other toilets to mine.
Although the food was OK itself, the service was extremely slow and frustrating.
The breakfast start time was 8:00 instead of 7;30, which you couldn’t find any cocked stuff there yet.

Stayed for the first time last weekend to see Handel's Messiah in Skipton, what a find and great place to stay !!! We are already planning our next stay early in 24, what can we say..........great service and quality for the price, superb attention to detail and every member of the team were true professionals, can't wait to visit again D&P

Beautiful hotel, recently refurbished rooms, very clean and tidy. Great breakfast, highly recomment the Eggs Royale. Good wi-fi and in-room facilities, tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits, bottled water.

Wonderful place on the edge of Settle. Very old Manor House with cosy log fire in reception and everything you expect from a Manor House. Staff were very helpful and checked us in very early. Dog friendly and welcoming.
Only criticism, was the put up beds for the children were hard and uncomfortable.

Cosy and pleasant stay would really recommend although the restaurant menu was limited and I was unaware - we didn’t have much choice at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Falcon Manor for our friends’ wedding. The ambiance, food and service were perfect. We were greeted in the foyer by a warm fire and there were lots of places to relax and enjoy our stay. Parking was free and the location is close to Settle shops.

The Falcon Manor is a nice hotel set within some of the most beautiful contryside in the uk. From the outside it's a great looking place, a very grand manor house.
When we entered we were greeted by a lovely log burning fire which warmed us up nicely! All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful, even if the check-in introduction was a little short and uninformative.
The hotel and room itself was decorated very nicely, with good quality furnishings etc. We stayed in the turret suite, which was a bit smaller than expected but still very nice. Nowhere online do the photos show it, but there is a full modern bathroom (with toilet, sink and walk-in shower), as well as the romantic in-room bathtub.
I would stay here again but there were a few bits that weren't quite up to the standard I would expect from a £150 a night room - falcon manor management, please take this as constructive criticism:
1) No phone in the room - ok nobody uses them for calls anymore but a few things the room were missing, I had to get dressed and go downstairs and ask rather than call and staff bring them up.
2) This is supposed to be a 4 or 5 star hotel, please get rid of the old in-room hotel kettle and put in a nespresso machine.
3) No sweeteners in the room, not great for my diabetic wife.
4) Was told that cappucino wasn't supposed to be served at breakfast but they'll do one anyway. Come on....
5) Wi-fi in room was non-existent - that's really poor!

A lovely hotel - blending tradition with modern standards in a seamless way. Comfortable and well furnished rooms. Excellent food and drink, a great location and friendly staff - what more would you need ? Will definitely revisit.
Sometimes hotels via Hotels.com don't match up to the pictures / description but here it very much exceeds them. Will be staying again.

Lovely hotel, staff helpfull and pleasant, great location
2.0
Lovely hotel, beautiful location, few challenges around service in the restaurants, nothing that wasn’t fixable and likely due to new staff but a little chaotic and basics like a steak knife for steak needed, or a menu before you can decide what you want to eat.
I would still visit again but hope this improves.

Great hotel in a super location. Super room and breakfast and spot on customer service will return.

Lovely small country house hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast.

We had booked with Expedia for a ground floor room. When we arrived we found that all bedrooms had flights of stairs but no lift . We coped , the bedroom was nice .
Also we were told we had to be out of the hotel by 10 am the next morning as the whole hotel was booked for a wedding .There would be no food available anywhere . I had planned to stay there on that morning while my husband went to his school reunion.
Therefore i had to ring another hotel to book at their spa so that I had somewhere to go. My husband dropped me off there for a few hours.
We feel that Expedia let us down and so did the hotel , although the staff were apologetic. Not at all saisfactory.

We stayed in the Turrets suite which was lovely. The bed was super comfy and the roll top bath was great - especially after a day of walking. The road outside was a little noisier than I expected but wasn't an issue for us. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was also good.

The only thing I complained about was the evening meal not up to their standard

Really lovely hotel with excellent accommodation and food - There was a really good choice for breakfast and the evening meals were very good. Definately would stay there again. However we did find out that if we had booked the Hotel direct it would have been £38 cheaper than expedia!!
