My friends and I visited for a weekend and it was perfect. The location was a short drive to some beautiful parks. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very accommodating. We are planning another trip this fall and if the property is available we would like be happy to stay there again.

We enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion of the house out in the country. It was a short drive over to Starved Rock and we even made a drive into a grocery store in LaSalle which was about 20 min away. We had a hard time getting the lock to open when getting in and with the heat but the owner was very quick to respond and resolve issues. He was kind and was understanding to our needs. Know that if you’re bringing children there’s only one bedroom with a door; the other is just partitioned off by curtains so there’s not much noise reduction for that room. If you don’t have kids this wouldn’t be a problem. The kitchen had a new oven, a nice fridge, and a number of cooking utensils and even some spices. Overall, it was a great location for our stay and what we were looking to do.

We didn’t realize the other stay was right next to this one but we enjoyed our stay and it was really close to the parks!
