About this house rental
If you're a lover of old stones, nature and tranquillity, this former 18th-century mill, which was in operation until the late 1990s, will be your ideal retreat for a stay at the tip of Finistère. This charming building is ideally located in the heart of the countryside, yet close to the sea, with the first beaches less than 5 km away as the crow flies or less than 20 minutes by bike.
As you enter the house, you'll find a large living room full of charm, with a rustic mix of old Breton stone and exposed wooden beams. The meticulous decor is embellished by the occupants' own furniture, with paintings, drums and musical instruments providing a lively setting that contrasts with the aseptic style of seasonal rentals. The living area comprises a dining area with a large table and a sitting area with 2 sofas, one of which converts.
This house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Sufficient furniture and furnishings. Bed linen and towels are provided (sheets, covers, pillowcases, towels).
House composed of :
=> Ground floor :
- Fitted and equipped kitchen
- Bathroom with shower
- Separate WC
- Lounge/living room with dining area + lounge area with fireplace and 2 sofas, 1 of which can be folded out to provide extra sleeping space
=> Upstairs:
- Open space with 2 single beds
- 2 double bedrooms with beds 140x190
- WC
=> Bedding, sheets and towels provided.
A vast plot of over 5,000m2, partly wooded, enhances the setting and contributes to making it a real oasis of tranquillity. With its pretty lake and natural surroundings, this is a paradise for nature lovers. Herons, frogs and ducks will transport you. The secluded location offers total privacy, allowing you to escape from city life. You can enjoy relaxing walks in the surrounding countryside, cycling, fishing or simply relaxing by the lake.
Less than 30 minutes away, you can discover the most popular tourist attractions in the Pays des Abers and Pays d'Iroise: visit the islands of Ouessant or Molène from the pretty, lively and picturesque port of Le Conquet (you can also leave from Lanildut), discover the 3 Abers and their magnificent landscapes, go for a walk along the wild coast or discover the Ile Vierge lighthouse, visit the Pointe Saint-Mathieu, the Château de Kergroadès, or the Musée de la Marine in Brest. For art lovers: La Passerelle in Brest, La Fondation Leclerc in Landerneau, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Brest....
For children, there's also the 3 Curés playground and Océanopolis (one of Europe's largest aquariums) nearby.
For the more sporty, there are some magnificent kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddle and surfing spots nearby. For golfers, there are several courses, including the Golf des Abers.
Smokers are welcome. However, out of respect for other guests, please do not smoke outside the house.
