The "Resting Eagle Beach House" is a waterfront escape with saltwater beach access steps away from the deck and boasts stunning water views of Dyes Inlet. Explore the beach at low tide and relax in deck chairs at high tide as you appreciate the beauty of the bay. A fir tree on this property cradles an active eagle's nest! The name is a tribute to these resident eagles.
Bask in the beauty of sunrise and sunset and experience the sounds of Reveille and Taps daily as you watch the American flag being raised and lowered across the bay at a Naval building. On a clear day, a peek-a-boo view of Mount Rainier can be seen. Wildlife sighting is of course not guaranteed, but is spotted often at this special escape. Sea otters, Canadian geese, harbor seals, orca whales, and bald eagles are in this area. It's not uncommon to see two eagles in the nest or perching on the tops of the trees on this property.
This vacation getaway is equipped with a propane barbecue, a swing set for kids, and a firepit. This retreat is close to town but feels like a vacation escape. It's a tranquil, single-level, three-bedroom, two-bathroom, waterfront beach house nestled at the end of a shared private road in the desirable Erlands Point neighborhood near Chico between Bremerton and Silverdale. The city of Silverdale is located five miles north and the city of Bremerton is located five miles south. There are many quaint towns to explore, such as Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Kingston, Port Gamble, Bremerton, and Port Orchard. Seatle is a one-hour ferry ride away (a 15-minute drive to the terminal).
Additional features include a vaulted cedar-planked ceiling, an open floor plan, a TV with cable, free WiFi, a sunroom, a desk area, an indoor fireplace, a laundry room with a wash tub, a washer/dryer, a wrap-around driveway, mature landscaping, and a main bedroom with its own access to the back deck.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. It was ample for our family of seven. We were able to bring inflatable rafts which we could enjoy from the beach area outside during high tide. During our stay, we saw the Bald eagles that live in the tree on the property and listened to them feed their babies. We also were visited by seals in the evening as we enjoyed rafting, and even got to watch a sea otter play on the shore.
There were ample supplies for our stay, including basic toiletries, cooking and laundry aids. Beds, linens and pillows were all comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi was a little challenging at times and I would recommend utilizing your own streaming service.
Nearby hiking was gorgeous. Over all, a great place to visit!!!

We went to Bremerton Washington to see our family in the Navy and had a great time staying at this house by the bay. It was everything we could hope for comfort wise, we all felt right at home. The kids loved going out onto the bay collecting sand dollars while the tide was out. We also enjoyed watching the seals in the evening. Being able to see the Eagles come and go was an added bonus.

My family and I loved the view and beach access- the covered porch and spacious living room were great for us to celebrate our Christmas. The quiet road was great and seeing the eagles fly overhead was amazing! The space made my family Christmas easy and fun!
