Girls long weekend to attend 2 day event
Very comfy and clean unit. Had everything I needed. Softest towels ever. Pub at the end of street turned out to be a huge bonus. Walked everywhere we wanted to go; event, supplies and pub.
Could use some flyscreens on windows to allow some fresh air in without the insects

A great apartment but the hosts could improve their hospitality
The location of this property, between Victoria Park Station and Smith Street, is superb. It is quiet, sunny, and has a well-appointed kitchen and lounge. It’s a 60s building with four flights of stairs.
The bedding provided was single thickness doonas/duvets, as one might get in a climate-controlled hotel, but it’s not a climate-controlled apartment and in chilly spring time we felt cold (as travellers from the Blue Mountains and Canberra we are used to the cold!). Only one bed has an electric blanket. When we asked for more bedding we were told to run the heaters, which was uncaring and stingy (as well as bad for the environment. Extra blankets would have made all the difference and left us with a better taste in our mouths. The place could really do with a deep clean as the bathroom window and fan is full of mould and the shower drain was solid with hair (once we lifted the grille to see why it was not draining). The listing says they don’t provide perishables but they don’t even bother to put UHT milk in the pantry so guests can have a cup of tea on arrival. The pantry contained a couple of old tea bags and a nearly empty jar of instant coffee … how to feel unwelcome.
