About this house rental
Coral Hammock is a gated communities with 55 luxury resort homes with a lavish Clubhouse and Pool and lushly landscaped grounds. These custom single family homes recall the romantic charm of old Key West with spacious floor plans, vaulted ceilings, "Conch" style porches and traditional metal roof. Located at "Mile Marker 5" and ideally located across from the Key West Golf Club and just down the street from world class fishing and other activities at Hurricane Hole Marina & Restaurant. You are close to all the action but yet secluded enough to enjoy your privacy. Key West is only a "2x4" island (two miles wide and four miles long) so nothing is far away!
We offer a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath poolside Coral Hammock Royal Palm House. Located in the interior circle so the pool, clubhouse & fitness center are practically in your backyard. This house features a large patio/deck with great views of the shared pool and features a queen bed, two twins (which can be converted to a king), sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen, central air plus ceiling fans and much more!

Easy access to key west and getting everywhere within 10-15 minutes- great to take a dip in the pool and the rooms were comfortable. Highly recommend this place - we will be returning

This property exceeded our expectations! Everything was well furnished, clean, and close to Key West without being too cramped. Craig and Cindy were great to deal with. There were many special touches (I don't want to spoil the surprise) so you must stay here to find out what they are! Definitely plan on staying here again!

This review is to shed some light on how this rental will work. We had a great time but were surprised/uncomfortable with a few things.
Four stars because it’s worth staying in if you are comfortable with how the owners operate.
The owners do not like using VRBO and made it very clear throughout our interactions. You have to sign a separate contract with them over email or they will cancel your reservation. In that contract they refuse to comply with VRBO’s cancellation policy and you must prove that you have bought travelers insurance for weather.
The day we arrived, the air conditioner was broken and the unit was 87 degrees, even until midnight. I reached out through VRBO and got a response saying that using VRBO to communicate is ridiculous and I should always call instead, but that they were in Paris and busy. I like to use the messaging system because there is a record of everything said. And I booked through VRBO for this exact reason.
The air conditioning was fixed the next day after I messaged the person in charge of maintenance (who was wonderful), and the owners are mailing a check to refund my first night’s stay (instead of going through VRBO to refund).
After we left, the property manager called and asked where the parking pass was. I had not seen this in the listing and had not seen it in the unit. He was kind and took my word for it.
Check in and out was easy and the pool is lovely! It’s a nice circle of townhomes and other guests were kind.

Fantastic two bedroom condo on Stock Island one mile from Key West. Great local restaurants. Property was REALLY clean and incredibly well stocked. I have food allergies so we always cook most of our meals and there is a lot of variation on what people considered a "stocked" kitchen. This kitchen has plenty of bowls and pans to cook a meal! The pool was lovely and immediately behind the unit - so very convenient. Absolutely would stay again!.

The place was nice and functional. It does need a good walk-through to fix things like broken blinds, and the floor rug that was not taped to fl. Just small things like that but overall a nice place.
