We stayed at 3 properties on our Glacier Trip and this one was by FAR the best. It looks just like the online pics. Very clean, so much room, comfortable beds. My kids loved the pond and hot tub. We will definitely stay here again!!!!

Wonderful experience. Teens loved the swimming hole. Wasps were bad so we ate inside. Previous guest dog left a present in the yard so we cleaned it up. Beds were hard but comfy. Coffee was amazing! Delightful experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It's even better than the photos! This is the cleanest place i have ever stayed in my life. We had an exceptional time and will be back again. The property and location is PERFECT. We saw deer, turkeys, and a bear. They are so kind and made us feel so welcome. We couldn't ask for anything better! I'm from kalispell and would book here again even without friends visiting

Extended family gathered for a ling weekend. Great secluded location yet close to Whitefish, Kalispell, GNP and airport. The pond, patio, porch, SUPs and kayaks offered so many options for activities and gathering. Returning to the cabin every afternoon was such a nice treat. The kitchen/dining/living apace allowed us all to cook while spending time together. The modern kitchen had everything we needed. Beds, linens, and AC were super comfortable. We met Carl once when we arrived which was a huge help, but the primary home is located up the hill, allowing the cabin and pond to feel very private. Great stay. Would live to come again.

I can’t say enough about this cabin. I felt at home. The cabin was fully stocked and very clean. It was secluded in what I would call hidden valley. The pond in the backyard was the highlight of the trip for the kids. The location was perfect . We can’t waif to com back next year.

Great secluded cabin with an amazing small pond for paddleboarding and kayaking. Well furnished with plenty of amenities. The owners are very responsive.

Beautiful lodge - everything we needed and a lot more. Wonderful touches like special biscuits and the canoes and floats for the lake. The kids were so happy and preferred being in the lodge to hiking! Thanks so much. It was utterly first class.

We spent three days with our family on property. Close to town but very private and tucked away. The kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking and watching the wildlife come and go in the early morning and late evening hours from the covered lanai. It was so peaceful. The hosts were gracious and kind. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious, and the kitchen and living room were perfect, providing adequate space for everybody to relax, connect, dine, and hang out. We will be back again!

In town with a family of eight for other families wedding. Great location to hang out, spend time and socialize. It really invites you to enjoy and spend time in the beautiful Whitefish area.

Book it! You will not be disappointed. This cabin is roomier inside than it looks outside. It indeed sleeps and hosts 10, we had a family of 9. It is laid out so it would be appropriate even for just 2. This place is super clean, well-stocked while being minimalistic. The kitchen is amazing with solid counter tops and island. Our young adults swam and paddled in the pond. The hot tub feels new and was really clean like everything else. Open campfires are not allowed in the area, so the owners have a nice, raised propane gas fire pit. We had an internet problem, they responded right away having the internet service out the following day. We really enjoyed the quiet porch rockers in the morning watching wildlife coming to drink out of the pond. The whole place is beautiful inside and out!
This cabin is about 45 minutes from Glacier National Park entrance, within 10 minutes of Walmart in Kalispell. We passed several ski resorts in the area.

My family came together for my nieces high school graduation and we had more than enough room to sleep, the washer and dryer came in handy with having kids. The family enjoyed the pond with the kayaks and hot tub the whole weekend. We made use of the fire pit and it was a fun family gathering spot. Carl came down to meet us with his dog Rocky and was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely book here again, already planning our next trip.

Couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. The private pond and serene setting says it all. Paradise.

My mom and dad came up from Livingston and I hadn’t seen them since last October. My mom brought her little dog and I brought my dogs over to visit . The property was beautiful and included everything and more to accommodate dogs to adults . We had a lovely time but I think the dogs had the most fun swimming in the pond for hours. The owners are very friendly and very accommodating. Thank you very much

Trailer isn’t a good option, other than that I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t want to stay here.

We made our reservation at the last minute, and so didn't have too many options (especially as we were bringing our dog), but honestly feel that we got incredibly lucky by being able to stay in this cabin, which all started with a wonderful welcome gift from Joy and Carl.
The cabin is much larger than it appears, with four good bedrooms, and lots of space looking out over the large windows.
Kitchen was well stocked, there was a great hot-tub on the deck, and there were plenty of places to walk our dog around (some easy trails that wind around Whitefish Hills).
The cabin was nicely located, just off US93, about 10 minutes south of Whitefish, which made it easy to get most places.
This will be the first place that we'll check if we ever need to visit the Whitefish area again!

Only complaint was that wifi went out 2 days into our 4 day stay and didn't get fixed. Cell service at the property is little to none and lost all my extended network data from my Alaska cell carrier. This made it hard to connect with other family members in the area. Besides that, the owners take pride in the property and are more than accommodating. Wish we could've stayed longer and would love to stay again during winter sometime.

There was 4 adults and 3 children, ages 1,3 and 6. The cabin is really nice and the pond was great. The kids really enjoyed swimming. It seems that they really planned everything here for the perfect vacation for a family. We will be back for sure.

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. Remote feeling yet close to town. Carl and Joy are great people. The humans and the dogs loved staying here. We will be back for sure as this has been pur number one spot we have stayed at. Only suggestion add a pizza pan and tin foil to the kitchen supply list. And yes be sure you have four wheel drive or a suv to get up the hill. Loved our time here and in Montana.

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin was everything that we expected. The rooms were plenty, there were plenty of towels! The kitchen area was so great and open for everything.
The only things we would recommend is getting smart TV's in the rooms and possibly a dresser in each of the main rooms, we had our stuff laying everywhere in suitcases.
We will be happy to return!!

2nd time staying here, love the property & relaxing, floating in the pond

The cabin is very well appointed, clean, with new/nice finishings. It accommodated our family well during our stay in Whitefish. It’s located very close to the owners’ home, and a houseguest of the owners’ would take their dog off-leash down to the little yard right outside this cabin, and utilized the small pond just in front. We did not feel this place was private, per the listing, but we did enjoy our stay. The property manager was quick on communication, however we were missing some critical items and received no acknowledgment of our inconvenience (i.e. one example is property manager provided an incorrect community gate code and we were subsequently stuck there without cell service). I do recommend this adorable cabin to those comfortable sharing the space with the owners/guests, and we would have given 5 stars if we had a better experience with the property managers.

As other reviews have mentioned, the layout works well and location of the property is lovely. The semi-private pond out back was super fun for the kids. Just a heads up that the property owners are very hands-on. They would come and inspect the property when we were away for the day. On the last day, we found them going through our garbage, presumably to check that we were bagging things property. (They may have thought we were gone, but it was before check-out time). Some people may appreciate such a hands-on and interactive approach from their hosts. For us, we would have preferred a little more privacy.
The other caveat is that the internet seems to be often very spotty/non-existent. We didn't have internet for the first 3 days of our stay, which had to do with the local internet provider (not the owners). It was explained to us that this was pretty typical for the area. If internet is important to you, you may want to stay somewhere a little closer to town.

Beautiful property in a great location from Kalispell, Whitefish and the west entrance of Glacier. It had plenty if room and amenities for our family of 7. We enjoyed watching wildlife visit to pond in back and the hot tub was a hit. We were close enough to some great hikes and some of the best Whitefish had to offer! Loved the area!

Winter wonderland! The cabin is gorgeous and had a great sledding hill, which was enjoyed by the 3 and 4 year olds and adults alike! We also really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and looking out at the frozen pond.

One of the best winter vacation spots we’ve ever experienced! Cabin was fantastic, clean and had great amenities. Carl was a great host and even lent us his and his wife’s snowshoes so we could experience some of the trails in the area. Great access to Whitefish Mountain Resort for skiing as well. I’m definitely coming back!
