Located near the centre of the magnificent Georgian town of Holt, 12 Station Road is a beautiful Grade II listed cottage curated from traditional brick and Norfolk flint. An end of terrace property, this hideaway is has been lovingly renovated to retain its original charming and character. With excellent amenities, including a Michelin star restaurant, within walking distance, this is the perfect retreat from which to explore.
Comprising of three floors, and featuring exposed stonework and beams, 12 Station Road beautifully blends traditional Norfolk living with attractive modern comforts. Entered via the backdoor, guests are instantly embraced by the welcoming aura this cottage exudes. The well-equipped kitchen maintains a rural charm and provides an excellent stage for rustling up meals made from the areas delicious local produce. An inviting coastal inspired dining room features an ornamental fireplace and mood lighting. With seating for four around the banqueting table, guests can make lasting holiday memories as food, wine and conversation are shared. A stylish shower room with a corner cubicle and heated towel rail completes this ground floor. A Norfolk winder staircase takes you to the first floor, where a light and bright siting room is located. A sumptuous sofa and Smart television make this room an appealing space to nestle into after a day spent exploring the local area and beyond. Also on this floor, the inviting master bedroom boasts an exposed flint feature wall and offers a double bed. Ascending another Norfolk winder staircase to the second floor leads to the second bedroom which hosts twin beds under a vaulted ceiling. Both bedrooms have been curated in a muted colour palette with beds dressed in fine linens to ensure all guests experience a deep and restorative sleep. Outside, the quintessential walled courtyard garden with charming bistro furniture is an idyllic place to enjoy morning coffee or dine al fresco from the charcoal barbecue.
