⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay" (Kirsty, Aug 2023)
The space
The large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage has a main section with a country-style kitchen fully equipped for self catering, with fridge, oven, stove, crockery, stovetop coffee and so much more, or head to the balcony to use the modern gas BBQ. The provided coffee, tea, and cooking essentials will help get you started, and you can enjoy your meals in the dining room or on the outdoor deck table.
The light-filled lounge room has comfy couches, lovely views, and a Smart TV with access to various streaming services.
The main section has two bedrooms - a generous master with king-size bed and walk-in robe, and a second bedroom with a double-size bunk bed (double top and bottom). There's also a family-size bathroom with a shower over bath.
Larger groups have access to the cottage's 'guest suite' area, connected by the balcony, but with a separate entry. This suite has a queen bedroom with its own sitting area, Smart TV, and tea/coffee facilities, and its own bathroom with shower. Perfect for groups who are together, but value a little space at times.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Such a beautiful & peaceful property. Highly recommended" (Nathan, Sept 2023)
While the hinterland has a wonderful climate with generally crisp mornings, warm days and cooler nights, the cottage has fans and split system AC throughout to help on any particularly hot or cold days.
The garden has a firepit in amongst mango, orange, nectarine, banana and mulberry trees, and you may spot black cockatoos, king parrots and green tree frogs. The property, which is registered with Land for Wildlife, is on 16 acres which you are welcome to wander through. Take a short walk to the top of 'green hill' (look for the white water tank with table and chairs beneath) for magical views over the countryside, especially at dawn or dusk, or to stargaze at night - bring a picnic up the hill!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A beautiful tranquil spot, the house was so comfortable and cosy, a hidden gem." (Donna, Aug 2023)
The cottage is a great place for children to play and enjoy nature, however please note there is a small dam and supervision should be provided as required.
We welcome you to bring your well behaved pet upon approval. The cottage has a fenced yard for your dog, and while it may not be fully secure for smaller dogs, the balcony areas are securely fenced/gated, and there is also a large open shed that can be used. We do not accept excessive barkers or aggressive dogs, and ask that you take care inside the cottage, ensuring pets are not on furniture or bedding (a dog bed and bowls are provided).
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We had the most beautiful time at the cottage, the dogs enjoyed the fenced space and we loved the multiple areas to sit and have a drink/unwind." (Leanne, Oct 2023)
Guest access
The whole cottage will be yours to use, along with 16 acres to roam as you please.
Other things to note
Only phones on the Telstra network get reception in Kin Kin, however once you are hooked up to the WiFi you can use AirBnB plus other messaging Apps.
All our precious water is harvested rainwater so please be water wise. The kitchen tap is filtered for drinking.
