It was a very enjoyable stay; however, there are minor improvements needed. For instance, better and more frequent cleaning is necessary, and curtains should be installed. The window in my room had a draft, so I feel they should be sealed better to ensure guests stay warm. Additionally, the door doesn’t fully feel closed, and the code to enter the building doesn’t always work. Offering a badge alternative and improving the door would enhance safety. Providing essentials like a phone charger would also be a nice touch for guests.
I believe listing the room names on the website would be helpful, as I had no idea which room I was assigned. Lastly, all my outlets were upside down for some reason, which seemed odd.
The good this is it generally was comfortable and the cafe downstairs helped alot

Very well kept rooms with great view. Gave a one bedroom apartment feel. Will definitely be our go-to choice when we return to Valdosta!

Me and my fiance chose this place as our honey moon, it's unique and beautiful. However, theybdodnt have a microwave for us to warm up our left overs , which sucked, we had to eat some of our food at room temperature. The area where the couch is seemed like there should have been a t.v and a seating area and table to eat , we ate our food on the bed , being there was only 1 t.v and that was in the bedroom. I tripped on the wood flooring walking into the bedroom Everytime I walked going into the door way , the wood is raised a little . There weren't enough towels In the bathroom, the toilet was in a separate room with a door , so it wasn't in the bathroom area , which was strange to me to have a toilet in a separate room with a door , it should have been in a open area of the bathroom it was a little scary for me. It didn't bother my husband . The door to the room has a slight crack in the door frame , so you could see the light from the hallway and theight from the room depending on if you're coming or going , also the door don't seem very secure , like it seemed easy to enter the room, even though it had a combination number to enter . We had the s& k suite , it was gorgeous, but the old pictures they used to decorate , needs to go . The hotel is expensive, paid over $800 / 3 nights , wasn't worth the money , my husband loved it so much that he said he will visit when he is In or near the area. Iwould revisit, but choose another room each time . Hosts were very nice

Dont rely on hotels.com to assign you the room you pick on their site. I picked a room with a big bathtub and was given an ada room with a shower.

The hotel was beautiful!!! I was so excited to stay in their renovate space in downtown Valdosta (my hometown)
There was quite a bit of noise. From other guest coming in late walking one squeaky old wooden floors. Passing trains and sirens throughout the night.
Even with that, I definitely hope to return.

There was a train passing through every 30 minutes or so that is not stated in the description. The large soaker tub also doesn’t actually hold water as the stopper didn’t work so although that’s a selling feature it wasn’t useable.
