About this house rental
Lula’s Landing - Meredith Lodging
Set in a quiet side street in south Depoe Bay, Lula’s Landing is a great place to land if you want to enjoy the amenities of this unique seaside town. Renowned for its population of resident grey whales, Depoe Bay is terrific for spotting these magnificent animals from land and sea. Lula’s Landing puts you in easy walking distance to two excellent spots for whale-watching: you’ll see whale from the seawall, just a couple of blocks to the north, or from a rocky outcropping called South Point, a walk through your neighborhood to the south. Whale-watching boats leave from the Depoe Bay Harbor, just across the highway to the east. Lula’s Landing has vaulted ceilings and skylights to bring the ocean light into its open great room, where you can relax on a velvet sectional by a river-rock gas fireplace and enormous wall-mounted TV. A dining table for eight sits off the pretty, fully equipped kitchen. You’ll love the sumptuous king suite on the main level; a queen bedroom and a double-twin bedroom for the kids have sweet décor that will delight your guests.
A deck with a glimpse of ocean lets you enjoy outdoor time with your guests. When you’re ready to venture out, you’ll find loads of restaurants within a few blocks, from casual dining spots to the upscale Tidal Raves. Unique shops, Left Coast coffee shop, and charter boat companies promise to make your stay special. Lincoln City and Newport, both filled with activities, are under a half-hour away in either direction.
