I was never able to use the property, waited 2 hours passed check in and ended up having to book a stay somewhere else.

Even though we had a short stay our trip there was well worth it. It is in an excellent location filled with a nice little strip and very easy to find. The owner is very gracious and always replied (when messaged) in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had trouble finding the house because it looks nothing like the actual home, not even close. They said there was extra linens in the closet but failed to say they may not be clean. Our first night (after we went to pickup a few groceries and returned back to the apartment) we were getting ready for bed and ran out of toilet paper. I messaged the host and was told to go buy some and leave the receipt and I would be reimbursed if I left the receipt. There was ONLY the started roll in the apartment. The full size bed is broken and tilts to one side. All the linens need to be replaced. The parking is a bit of a challenge as well. This rental was NOT worth the rental price at all. Keep scrolling…..look for a different rental.

I booked this place very last minute . Host was very nice and helpful. Even accommodate me for early check in :) it’s a good place to stay if you visiting the city

I’m a Native New Yorker and was in town visiting family. The property was in a convenient location to the Metro North and NYC. Living room, bedrooms and kitchen were clean. The steps leading to the apartment 2nd floor were dirty and needed to be swept and mopped. The bathroom was small, and the shower stall was hideous. The shower stall is super small and had a lot of mold and mildew at the bottom of the stall. We ended up checking out 3 days early due to the shower stall being dirty with mold and mildew. We’re both on the tall side and you cannot maneuver in the shower to take a good shower. The mold and mildew grossed me out because I’m prior military and it reminded me of taking a shower in not so sanitary showers while I was deployed in the middle east. I contacted the host to let him know we were checking out early. He asked if anything was wrong. I informed him the shower stall was small and dirty. He never responded back. He didn’t apologize, he didn’t even offer to have someone to clean the bottom of the shower stall floor. If you use wash clothes, ensure you bring your own because none were provided for us. The owner was responsive prior to me letting him know about the shower. The owner needs to have someone use a razor blade to scrape up all that mold and mildew, then use a bleach cleaner to disinfect and recalk the shower. Possibly install a bigger shower stall.

Nice, compact two bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped, and huge TV in living room was hooked up to Sling. The shower was fairly cramped, but it is the upstairs apartment in an old building. Air Conditioning was great during the hotest week in NY so far this year. Warning, the stairs are narrow and quite steep to the apartment on the second floor.
