Whether you've visited Cedar Key countless times or are about to experience it for the first, Cedar Tides offers a fabulous location for your stay. This small, 4-unit townhouse condo complex is situated right on the Gulf of Mexico. As a corner unit with expansive windows overlooking the water, you'll feel as if you're on the bow of a ship. If you’re here to unwind, fish, savor local festivals, or explore, Cedar Tides serves as the ideal home base. It's just a short 10-minute stroll to downtown, conveniently located off G St for Cedar Key's famous sunsets. There are few places that will make you feel as at home with island living as Cedar Tides – the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Cedar Tides High- the upper unit

Bathed in natural light from numerous windows, this top level unit offers stunning Gulf views and unbeatable sunsets. Access the property via an exterior staircase, leading to a luminous main level. The well-appointed kitchen, complete with an air fryer, invites you to dine in with ease with seating at the counter and a spacious dining table for six.

The living room is perfect for lazy afternoons with two swiveling recliners and a comfortable sofa bed facing a large television equipped with your favorite apps. Step out onto the wrap-around deck for ample seating and the option to soak up the sun or enjoy the shade. From here you can watch the dolphins play in the Gulf and see an array of local birds from Osprey to our coveted Roseate Spoonbill.

Ascend to the upper floor to find a nice sized loft bedroom with high ceilings and a cozy queen bed. The upper level also features a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and updated fixtures.

Cedar Tides Low- the lower unit

The Cedar Tides studio condo is a ground floor unit and right on the water. A comfortable queen bed and full bathroom are all you really need for a long weekend on the island. There is also a mini-fridge, microwave and drip coffee maker to make your vacation a little easier. At the window you'll find a small table for sipping your morning coffee and planning your day. Step out the back door to your large private deck overlooking the water. Here you can sit back and relax while you watch the tides change and the dolphins play.

*If you're looking for a smaller space, Cedar Tides also rents the upper unit as a 1 bedroom 1 bath and the lower studio separately.

The lower unit of Cedar Tides is at ground level, no stairs required. The upper unit of Cedar Tides requires guests to climb 1 story of exterior stairs to get to the main living area and then another interior to get to the loft style bedroom.

Nestled on Florida's Gulf Coast, the Cedar Tides in Cedar Key is in a neighborhood that harmonizes natural beauty and cultural allure. This is a dog friendly property but we ask that all dogs go outside to use the bathroom, no piddle pads.

*Parking: Cedar Tides High (upper unit) allows 2 vehicles, both must be parked on to the right of the building along the hedge and not blocking the driveway or access to the carport. Cedar Tide Low (lower unit) allows for 1 vehicle, vehicle must be parked in the carport at the entrance of the unit. Please do not park your vehicles or golf carts anywhere else at the property. There is NO boat or trailer parking.

*Note that there is NOT water access from this property.

-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.

This loft apartment on the 2nd floor is clean, spacious, and unique. 2nd bed/bath downstairs with seperate entrance means you can occupy all 3 floors! Fully stocked kitchen with Ninja instapot, pans, etc and spices. Full private terrace on ground floor and 2nd floor. Sunsets were amazing. Absolutely pet friendly and we appreciated the additional cross members on the terrace railings for pur tiny fur friends 🐕 🐩 This is a repeat stay for us! We will be back soon
