The apartment gets its name from the Moulin Rouge building just a few meters down the street. While it hasn’t been home to the classic Moulin Rouge performances since the 1930s, and numerous renovations have modernized the interior (where today you will find a Vapiano restaurant), you can still feel the reminiscent nostalgia when the building is illuminated at night.
