About this villa rental
A stunning country villa for up to 10 people, which makes an idyllic holiday retreat. Close to the beautiful town of Scicli in south-eastern Sicily, the villa is perfectly situated for guests to explore this fascinating region, or simply to relax and enjoy the private pool.
The three-storey villa has been imaginatively and tastefully restored, combining contemporary touches with original features. The ground and first floors both have sitting and dining areas plus well-equipped kitchens, each fitted with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. These allow groups of friends to holiday together whilst enjoying a certain amount of independence and privacy.
The ground floor is blessed with arched stone loggias where guests can relax or dine al fresco. The first-floor balcony has another covered dining area, off the main sitting room.
The house is surrounded by extensive, walled gardens, with palms and citrus trees, a lush lawn and a beautiful swimming pool, bordered by wooden decking, complete with sun loungers. Next to the pool, there is a shaded area with smart armchairs and a dining table for relaxed lunches.
Sleeping
The villa has 5 unique bedrooms, spread over 3 floors, each with a double bed, wardrobe and a private bathroom. One of the two bedrooms on the top floor has a private balcony with seating where guests can relax and enjoy the views.

The state-of-the-art bathrooms are beautifully appointed. They all have showers, basins, bidets and WC’s.
There is one independent bathroom with WC and bidet, in addition to the 5 en suite bathrooms.

In southern Sicily, close to beautiful beaches and historical sites, this villa is in an ideal position for guests to enjoy everything the region has to offer. It is on the eastern edge of Scicli, a jewel of a town, packed with Sicilian Baroque architecture, excellent restaurants and cafés where visitors can soak up the atmosphere. For self-catering, Scicli’s weekly market takes place on Tuesday mornings in Via Saffi.
The villa is just 10 minutes from the coast. The medieval fishing village of Donnalucata is known for its wide, sandy beaches and sleepy atmosphere. It is home to several fine restaurants where you can sample the freshest local fish.
Catania’s International Airport is a 1 hour 35 minute drive from the villa.
