The space
So close to all the amenities and activities that Montecito and Santa Barbara has to offer, yet so far away from 'tourbillon d'activity'. Relax on Adirondack chairs, look out to the mountains, or listen to the birds that flock to the mature gardens surrounding the cottage. Sit back after a long day of exploring the area on the patio chaise lounges, with a glass of local Santa Barbara wine. Or take a stroll around the neighborhood and discover the unique row of cottages that are full of history and charm.
The Guest Cottage has a detached bedroom pavilion with a Queen size bed, and 100% cotton sheets adding to the luxury. This sweet and tranquil bedroom is surrounded by tall windows and french doors, opening up to the night sky. Many a falling star has been sighted while dozing off in this special cottage bedroom. A full bathroom is just 10 steps away, along a flagstone path, to the main Guest Cottage.
Additionally, a comfy Sofa, larger than the size of a twin bed, occupies the Main Cottage Living Room area if you have another guest. Sheets and blankets provided.
There is a Full Bathroom, with Shower, Tub, and Skylight in the Main Guest Cottage.
The Kitchenette area is equipped with a small refrigerator, Oven,Coffee & Tea Maker, Air Fryer/Baker, Toaster, Dishes.
The Living Room area has a Flat Screen TV, upon request, with local and nationwide programming.
The beautifully private Garden has a relaxing sitting area, facing the mountains, and near a mature 80 year old Avocado Tree (which produces the BEST avocados you've ever tasted, and free for the taking)!! A great place for afternoon Tea.
You'll feel so at home in this sweet cottage, that you'll never want to leave...
Owner lives in front cottage, on property. Your privacy is completely respected but she will respond to any questions or requests you may have. Otherwise, she keeps to herself and only interacts if you desire.
This is a quiet residential area, with rows of older cottages built between the 20's and 40's, early California, Quintessential Montecito style!
There is a city bus which stops 1/2 block away, and will take you into the heart of SB. Otherwise, there is easy access to the 101 by car.
