The reunion house has heart pine floors and woodwork. The main floor is covered with high, double-hung windows and 9-foot ceilings. The glass front door is flanked by beautiful ornate windows. Period antiques appear throughout the house including an early 20th c. piano and built-in china cabinets.
The downstairs bath contains a new, modern walk-in shower. Upstairs holds a beautiful cast iron tub with rain shower above.
Set on half- acre double lot right downtown, the reunion house has plenty of room for parking and to wander among the oak trees and young, long-leaf pines and to take beautiful walks or bide rides in historic old DeLand.
There’s always something happening downtown whether it’s the many events and parades, or among the pubs and restaurants. There are regular performances for the public from one of the finest music schools in Florida or the restored Athens Theater, each only a block away.

Overall was a great experience! This home has an antique vibe. For some of my family, it felt cozy and relax. For others, it was a house they needed to get used to based on the years the house had. From my visit, I know the owners were still tweaking some things. Gina was super super sweet and friendly. It was easy to communicate with her any of my concerns, and she was able to rapidly adapt to my family plan changes. I will definitely return if I’m ever in that area again.
