Find a comfortable place to hang your hat at this ideally located cottage in Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World. It's a place to experience Texas' rich cowboy heritage at every turn, whether you're walking down to the Medina River (four blocks), visiting one of the legendary local dude ranches, or taking in a rodeo at Mansfield Park Arena (two miles).
This single-story home sits near the heart of small-town Bandera, long an important staging area for 19th- and 20th-century cattle drives. Today, you can swim in the sparkling river, stop by the Frontier Times Museum (half a mile), or spend a day exploring Hill Country State Natural Area (12 miles). Motorcycle enthusiasts will love trekking along the 100-mile Twisted Sister trail, one of the best motorcycle roads in the state. Horseback riding, golf cart rentals, and kayaks are all also available with just a phone call, as well as private year-round axis hunts. You're also within walking distance of a plethora of shopping options, restaurants, bars, and the beautiful St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, one of the designated "Painted Catholic Churches" of Texas.
Begin each morning with a mug of coffee on the front porch, and end each evening with dinner prepared in the barbecue pit. In the in-between hours, you can make use of the eat-in kitchen, the comfortable living room, and central air conditioning throughout the house. Leave the day's dusty clothes in the care of the washer/dryer, use the complimentary WiFi to map out tomorrow's adventures, and stream movies late into the night before falling asleep.

Comfortable home, nice street, clean. Lock could be a little tricky for folks not familiar with the type of deadbolt used, but otherwise fantastic stay.
