Sunlight seems to find every corner of this lakefront home, beautifully situated near the northern tip of Spirit Lake. It's a lovely spot overlooking the water and mountains, with the heart of town only a few blocks away. Take your canoe out for a morning paddle from the newly installed dock, bring your boat along and launch just down the street, or rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and other watercraft at the public park a few houses away.
Spend your days here fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, bass, and crappie, or head down to Rathdrum to play a round at the Twin Lakes Village Golf Club (eight miles). Back at the house, relax on the covered porch facing the lake and bring dinner down to the picnic table as the sun sinks behind the mountains.
The great room, with windows lining three sides, is a special place to hang out and take in the splendor of your surroundings. Prepare meals together in the kitchen, sit down for dinner and board games at the dining table, and gather in the living room to play PS3 (with controllers and some games provided) or stream movies on the Amazon Fire TV Stick (with your own account credentials). Three inviting bedrooms, a Pack-N-Play, and a laundry room round out the in-home essentials.

Beautiful place! Exactly what the wife and I were looking for. We were able to paddleboard and enjoy the scenery! Will definitely try and rebook for a future date!

Extremely disappointed with the lake access due to large area of lily pads we unable to swim or pull a boat to the dock.

We loved this cabin from the moment we pulled up. There were no surprises from the pictures. We were so impressed with how well stocked it was with towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable, even the kids boasted them. The children loved their room they shared as a friend's space between our two families. We brought our fishing gear and our 8 year old woke up most mornings to run and fish off the dock even though there was a video game system (that's a big win in pur modern world!) This space and the lake is so amazing that it has inspired us to hope for a Return stay to possibly shop for our own cabin at spirit lake as it's so welcoming.

First and foremost this is a hidden gem!! Great for just relaxing and enjoying solitude or for a fun filled time at Silverwood Theme Park. This place is located on Spirit Lake with a new trek deck dock. When we went, mid Aug the lake was really low and there was a lot of lily pads which made it impossible to fish from the dock. There is a little beach area too you can access but again, when we were there the water level was really low. However, there is a nice park that you can rent paddle boards and kayaks from and a boat launch a short distance from the house. They also provided a nice weber grill, lounge and lawn chairs and a nice picnic table to enjoy. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished with central AC and 3 box fans (They need to update the VRBO site ) Not a big deal but an FYI they provided minimal dry condiments and no refrigerated ones. There is a small local grocery store less than a mile away. I would highly recommend this place!!

The location is great. The house is comfortable and stocked well. Master bathroom is amazing. Sitting on the deck is relaxing and very quiet. Negatives are there are lily pads surrounding the dock so swimming was difficult. Housekeeping could do a better job with cleaning the dog hair and house had a pet smell when you walk in the door. We never did find the Keurig we were told was there. The clock in the primary bedroom chimes every half hour waking you up. Only a heavy sleeper could get any sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. Cleaners were not through, only 1 laundry pod. Stain on floor and back glass door wasstill had dog or people smears.

Much more than a lakeside getaway. Wildlife with eagles, osprey, and the ever present geese and ducks. Moose swimming across the lake. Fishing, hiking, kayaking and just plain relaxing. A kayak rental and boat ramp a short walk away. Perfect adult refresh or family retreat.

In early April, views of Spirit Lake were amazing. Walks to the nearby boat launch and along trails, through the neighborhood, and to the town were all wonderful. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and plenty of dishes. A great place to stay. Would return again.
