Welcome to Terrapin Station Cottage
In through the ‘front / side’ door you find the laundry room that houses a full-sized fridge (the first of 3) and a full-sized washer and dryer. Then the upper living room – cozy and full of cottage kitsch – with a west-facing swoon-worthy lake view anytime of the year!
From the upper living room, you find the large dining room. Right off the kitchen and the living room, it’s just waiting for “Taco Tuesday”, a board game or even a puzzle!
The kitchen is small but mighty – 2nd of 3 full sized fridges in the cottage, a full-sized oven/stove, Nespresso coffee machine, a drip pot coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and microwave.
The kitchen is fully stocked – any and all kitchenware you may need, we’ve got.
Through the dining room, you find the first full-sized bathroom which has a shower/tub and a large counter. This bathroom is also connected to the kitchen with a locking door (Handy when you’ve got little ones!) and is easy to access from the upper bedrooms.
Head up the stairs from the bathroom to the 3 upper bedrooms, one of which is a 5-bed fun “kids bunkie room”, and the 2 other bedrooms both have queen-sized beds.
Simple, clean, and well stocked, these bedrooms do the trick for a cottage vacation!
Down the stairwell off the kitchen/dining room, first we have a bedroom with a double bed, and then across the hall, a full bathroom with a standing shower.
Next the family room with a full bar – where you’ll find the 3rd fridge – along with 2 separate sitting areas and a TV, DVD player and over 200 DVDs to choose from!
Then a sliding door out to the spacious screened-in porch with a table that sits 6-8 people – the perfect refuge after watching the sunset off the dock when the bugs come out.
Movie nights, drinks at the bar, card games and board games – you are set you up for a true cottage holiday!

Property: the cottage is on a hill, at edge of the cottage road, with a sloping yard that ends at the lake with a flat lawn
Large, long yard perfect for all kinds of lawn games – ladder ball, giant Jenga, horseshoes, and others available for use
Full play area with a slide and 3 swings along with a play structure

An Aquatruster is utilized (an environmentally friendly way to clear weeds and keep the lake floor clear with just a gentle current) and weeds are cleared from an approximately 100-foot radius around the dock and part of the waterfront so it’s weed free and a sandy bottom. The weeds do get thicker a bit further out, but they clear towards the end of the area that is in line with the floating docks at the nearby marina.
Water shoes are highly recommended.
Entry to the water is via ladder off the dock
Very shallow to step off retaining wall – easy to get into to get into kayaks, canoe or stand-up paddleboards
Water is approximately 3’ deep off the end of the dock (NO diving)
Dock is large enough to hold an 15 ‘- 18’ bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat
The lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.
Canoe, 2 child kayaks, 1 adult kayak, 2 stand-up paddleboards, various large floaties
Cottage faces west – spectacular sunsets all year round – sunset lines up centre with the dock in the summer
