Located on the outskirts of the quaint village of Charlestown, celebrated for its Georgian charm and harbour, this traditional cottage with its modern interior makes a cosy holiday base. Wander through streets adorned with cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops, admiring the grand tall ships moored at the quay (all within 300 metres). Uncover maritime history at the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, or bask on the shingle beach sheltered by the harbour wall. Embark on scenic walks along the South West Coast Path and soak up the breathtaking views. Within 12 miles, discover attractions like the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the iconic biomes of the Eden Project, and the stunning camellias and rhododendrons at Caerhays Castle and Gardens. The cottage offers the perfect base for experiencing the charm and beauty of South Cornwall.
As you step through the front door, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the snug living area. Adorned with decorative, slate flooring that adds rustic charm, the space invites you to unwind on the plush leather sofa or sink into the comfort of the matching armchair. A wood burner radiates warmth, creating a comforting atmosphere for chilly evenings. Entertainment is at your fingertips with a Smart TV provided. Off to one side is the dining table with chairs for four and a step up leads you into a stylish kitchen, equipped with all you need to make cooking a breeze. A sleek breakfast bar offers a casual spot to sip your morning coffee or set up your laptop to catch up on emails. This level is also where the bright shower room is found, boasting a luxurious walk-in, double-head shower. Up the stairs, there are three inviting bedrooms: two king-size and one single. The bedroom situated at the rear of the cottage offers views of the garden and the picturesque countryside beyond. The garden is a real feature of this cottage with various areas to allow you to find a sunny spot throughout the day. To the front is a large lawn and table with bench, there’s a further paved patio area to the side and to the rear, a terraced garden with deck and summerhouse. Lounge in the sun with a good book or get together for a BBQ listening to the countryside sounds surrounding you.
