The opportunity to make every meal an experience is supported by professional chef’s kitchens in each residence. The kitchens are well equipped with high-end stainless steel Viking appliances, including dual ovens and a built-in wine fridge as well as all the utensils you will need during your stay. Enjoy your meals on the spacious oceanview balcony or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Four total primary bedrooms feature sumptuous king-size beds, each with a lavish adjoining bathroom offering double granite vanities, soaking tubs, and glass and travertine walk-in showers to prepare for the day's adventures. Both residences also offer a guest room with a king-size bed and separate bath showcasing a single vanity and marble walk-in shower. For added convenience, each adjacent residence has a queen convertible sofa sleeper in the living area, bringing the total combined sleeping capacity to 16 guests.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and five hot tubs there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House Restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and farm fresh local items, the Aina Gourmet Market is conveniently located in the Hokulani Tower lobby.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head downstairs to the acclaimed Ho’ola Health Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. Honua Kai occupies 38 pristine beachfront acres on the shores of Kaanapali’s North Beach so you’ll literally be just steps away from the tranquility of Maui’s shoreline. An “Ohana Play Package” including Tommy Bahama beach chairs, BBQ equipment, and a portable cooler is provided complimentary.
For added convenience, our free courtesy shuttle offers complimentary transportation between Honua Kai and several West Maui locations.
