About this towable trailer rental
**Normally $150/night, I'm offering 40% off your entire rental until the end of the calendar year!**
My sweet little 1100 lb 2022 Happier Camper HC1 is perfectly set up for you to just pull away with your car. I tow it with a 2WD Ford C-Max! I am also happy to deliver it to you up to 10 miles away from my residence in Milwaukie, for $25.
This camper is has a fiberglass shell that keeps it cool in the summer and toasty in the winter!
COMFY AMENITIES:
-Comfortably sleeps 2 adults, maybe 3 if you want to get cozy (1 queen sized bed that can be made into 1 full and 1 twin)
-Bed adjusts to table & seating
WATER:
-5 gallon water tank connected to sink includes a direct water line for RV parks
-Grey water output requires a bucket or other receptacle, depending on where you're camping (bucket included)
COOKING
-This camper does not have a stove range built in, but my 1-burner camp stove will be supplied (propane not included).
ELECTRIC
-2 lithium batteries and an inverter that can power the trailer for up to 3 days! Off-grid amenities that FULLY FUNCTION off grid include: The Dometic fridge drawer, water pump for the sink, all the lighting, USB ports (x3) and AV connectors (x2), roof AC and 2 electrical outlets (if the inverter is on).
-Direct electric hookup is available (cord included- YES it can plug right into any electrical outlet and I have all the adapters!)**
-Solar panel add-on is available and highly recommended, to make your camping trip last longer (as long as it's sunny!) It's super easy to hook up.
**This camper DOES include regular electrical outlets, but they only work when the camper is directly hooked up to electric OR when the inverter is on.
HEATING & COOLING
-Air conditioning in the roof with all the settings!
-A propane-powered heater is available to use (propane not included)
- I do not recommend using a plug in heater even when the inverter is on because those pull A LOT of power. Please only use a plug in space heater with shore power connected.
TOILET
-A camping toilet (NOT built into the camper) can be supplied for an extra $50. It is recommended that only #1s go into it, and that you dispose of paper products, including TP (and hygiene products) into the garbage, not into the toilet. It will last longer and be less stinky if used correctly! I also DO require that you dump it after use and before returning, please! The $50 fee just helps make it more convenient for me to clean it, since even after dumping I do still need to deep clean it.
SUPPLIES INCLUDED INSIDE THE CAMPER
-Hand towels
-All-purpose spray
-Toilet paper
-Throw pillows & some wool blankets
-Grey water bucket
-Biokleen toilet pods (to break down toilet waste)
-Some tools, including a small wrench, camping lighter, scissors, can opener
-Small trash can & trash bags
SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND THAT YOU BRING (that are NOT in the camper)
-Your own pillows, blankets and sheets for sleeping (bed cushions are already included, see photos)
-Most of your own cooking supplies, not including a cookstove unless you want to use your own. This means paper towels, cutlery, plates, cups, pots, pans, etc.
-Propane! For using the cookstove and the heater.
-Personal toiletries!
TOWING
-See towing info for hitch requirements
-It is recommended that your vehicle can tow at least 1,500 lbs! 4WD is NOT required, can you believe it! This camper is only 1,100 lb dry weight.
-Anti-lock brake system included! This means that when you brake in your car, the wheels on the camper brake too! Driving this thing is a BREEZE.
-I am more than happy to hook it all up to your vehicle at pickup, to ensure maximum security and minimal stress!
-The most helpful article I've found on towing this trailer with your car is this one: https://happiercamperowners.com/happiercamperarticles/2020/10/15/towing-your-happier-camper#:~:text=Your%20hitch%20%26%20electrical%20connection&text=While%20there%20are%205%20different,is%20what%20you%20see%20above.
ADDITIONAL FEES
-If you are camping off grid for at least 3 or more nights, OR if you plan on using the AC, I do recommend you take advantage of my solar panel for an additional one time $100 fee. This will ensure you have enough power for your trip. The batteries can last up to 4 nights if you don't use the inverter or AC, but to guarantee you have power for that long, I require you use the solar panel if you're renting at least 3 nights.
- The camping toilet is not built into the camper and therefore has to be prepped and cleaned for each renter. It is very convenient to have if you are off grid and there isn't a nearby restroom or you're not comfortable with going in the wilderness. Thanks!
