From the Concierge to the Bellman, we found the staff to be very, and unusually, competent and professiosnal. We had occasion to change room from a standard room to one where the bath was more accessible. The Front Desk staff handled this exceptionally well, showing us two possible exchanges and then seending a bellman to assist with our move within the hour. We were very impressed and much more comfortable in our new room. Thank you.

The hotel has a large lobby and check in was fine, however, when I got to the room it was 27C. I had arrived at midnight and just wanted to sleep but it was impossible, I called reception and they sent a technician who said it would take a while to cool down. I requested a room change but kept being told that I would be called back. I then went down and spoke to the manager who said that the hotel was full but he might downgrade me and that I can be grateful that he is trying to find me a room. Given that this was a €500/night hotel, let's just say I was a bit displeased by this remark but nonetheless remained calm. Eventually, after one hour the manager found me a room in the same category and gave a voucher for 2 drinks in the skybar as compensation (which was shut for a private event the following evening so I couldn't use the vouchers). The room itself was an ok size for Paris but on the smaller end - certainly more of a 3* room with a small bathroom and small shower cubicle. I could see the Eiffel Tower from the edge of the window. Breakfast was good. The local was good and convenient for a conference that I was attending but otherwise, not the best stay for my trip.

The room they gave me initially was directly in front of the air conditioning all I could see was cement - it was on the 3rd floor. I asked for a different room - got it but had to wait quite a while.

The hotel was warm and inviting. The rooms were very spacious with great amenities. Walking distance to the Arc made our sightseeing more enjoyable.
