Great location near by old city of Santiago, excellent service, food is great and breakfast amazing! The hotel is aging and the 8th floor smell humid and old, also the rooms are old, water pipes and drains dirty and smelly. Overall GOOD STAY

We were able to check in as our room was prepared even though we arrived in the morning. It was extremely helpful.

Transferred here after the Mercure down the road did not have the rooms we reserved. This hotel is lovely, has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, a great breakfast and restaurant. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be near the City centre.

This is a classic, opulent hotel that harkens back in style and look to the early/mid 20th century. I am sure that throughout most of its existence, it was considered a 5 star or better. Today, it may be old-fashioned. I read read reviews that almost deterred me. But, this was & is the best choice. Everything was lovely. From the elevators that carried us from the 8th floor to the Lobby & sub-levels (3) in an instant, to the absolutely delicious and amazing breakfast, to the waiters, bellhops, & concierge that served us, delivered ice, water, tea & coffee to our room in an instant, to the immense spaces for sitting, talking, working, to the fabulous concert halls & meeting rooms - and yes the pool and gym. All very well appointed and with good equipment. There are complaints about the neighborhood, but this is the center of town. There are museums and churches right on the same plaza. If you r ready for beautiful wood paneled rooms (the whole place was wood paneled) with wonderful beds, and nicely appointed bathrooms with a wonderful bar, restaurant, and pleasant efficient staff, this is the place. By the way, I have stayed in the best hotels in NYC, LA, London, Madrid, Amsterdam, Seoul, and many more. This place was great. But, management must upgrade the HVAC, it worked fine but it was struggling and was slow to respond to adjustments. But, we were always comfortable. And, smarter TVs. I could not connect my Mac. But then, why stay indoors?

Great service, staff are very curteaous. The breakfeast is great! Fresh cooked omelets, various cheese, cold cuts, fruits. All types of coffee are available, which you can select on your own. The bar is nice also, with happy hour menus. We stayed twice at this hotel during our visit to Chile.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was big and spacious and the bathroom huge. The shower did leak onto the floor a bit as the glass panel was too short, but it wasn’t really a problem. The bed was very comfortable. The service at reception was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. One of the best we have had. Lots of choice, easy to over eat. We enjoyed the use of the spa facilities as we both had massages and used the sauna. The two biggest benefits at this hotel were the ability to check in early as our overnight flight arrived at 8am, and having the use of luggage storage and the spa facility to shower late afternoon on our last day as our flight out was very late but we had to check out in the morning of course. Don’t walk around the area at night time outside the hotel. It’s not particularly safe.

They did not provide the necessary services and assistance during my stay at the property. They answered emails days late, they charged me for extending my time at the hotel ($60 for 4 hours more even though I was a VIP) and the quality of the rooms is not modern: they do not have soap, small towels, slippers, or irons, in short, a very basic hotel.

Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Let us check in early, gave us tips for dining, and arranged for transportation back to the airport.

The room was big, cosy, with 2 very confortable double beds. But in the bathroom, you could hear the noise from the other room, and children on the upper room could be heard while they were running. Luckily, the employees were very helpful and reacted when I gave them a call to complain. The noise in the room upstairs stopped.

It was alright. The front desk staff are lovely. Otherwise the service is just mediocre. The food in the restaurant quite terrible. The hotel itself needs a deep cleaning! Breakfast terrible. Location not great. Would not recommend.
