Even considering the fact that we were staying here TOTALLY "off-season", which ended roughly 30 days earlier (it IS close to Yellowstone, after all) when no doubt they are "fully booked" from spring thru fall, the fact that we were the ONLY customers in the entire motel was a surprise to us and, truthfully, very welcome after a long 6½ hour drive from northern Montana to visit friends. Plus, we found it particularly handy that they are located very near multiple great restaurants, markets and stores. Could not have been a better accommodation, IMHO.

Dirty. Tired. Wore out. Extremely cheap operators. Continental breakfast was so gross. All other hotels in town were sold out. This was the only hotel that had vacancy. There’s a reason why. Sleeping in my car would have been a much better alternative had I not already paid the outrageously over priced cost of $185 for such a dirty, unkept property.

The hotel seemed to be old. Staff was friendly. The room was fine but the walls were thin. We could definitely hear the people in the room next to us

My room was very clean and quiet. However, no handhold in shower is dangerous. WiFi was not very good. Kept going in and out. Promised breakfast was very disappointing. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great for the price, a little bit from downtown but not far at all. Not a bad place to stay. I would stay here again

It was a good option if you’re just passing through Red Lodge. Easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants.

Older hotel, but has been well maintained. My room was clean and organized with a nice fridge/freezer and balcony overlooking the parking lot so I could keep an eye on my bike. There were a lot of motorcyclist here after either going over the Beartooth Pass, or planning to. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was slim pickings, but I was just happy to have some toast, a muffin and a cup of hot coffee.

Very dirty, very tired. Sheets had some stains, looked like boogers wiped on the back of the door, floor needs a good vacuuming. The staff was very friendly. After we saw our room, we didn't even go look at breakfast. I don't need fancy but I do need clean.

New owners. The hotel could used updated but I am willing to give the new owners time. Red Lodge is such a great location. The bed was comfortable, hotel quiet, room clean, and compared to local hotels the price was reasonable. Breakfast very limited but again, new owners.

OK hotel for a last minute stay. Staff was nice but very hard to understand. Breakfast was dry toast (with only one side of the toaster working) and strangely watered down orange juice.

The hallway smelled like stale smoke, and the bedroom had a distinct musty odor. There were only two tissues in the Kleenex box, and water slowly seeped out around the base of the toilet (I put a bath towel on the floor for when I used the toilet, which helped to pinpoint what was going on). Several common doors were dirty from where people pushed them open, etc.

No deluxe continental breakfast, very few tv channels, hot tub not working, empty vending machines, dirty shower stall

One of the filthiest hotels I have ever stayed. Rubbish and clutter around the entrance. Poor lighting, dirty carpets, weeds knee high, etc. Certainly not what we were expecting in a beautiful resort town. I would never stay here again even if the price was a fraction of what it cost. So bad, I considered sleeping in my truck instead.

My biggest complaint is the desk area had NO plugs for my laptop or cell phone. Not much of a desk area if I can't plug in my laptop. parking lot on the back sucked.

Property is in need of total renovation, room was non smoking but smelled of smoke, bathtub with shower was difficult to get into because it was big with jets and had no bars to help you in and out. Bed was old and not comfortable . Breakfast was a joke coffee and a roll. There was confusion over the reservation but the staff was helpful.

This place was very clean and staff very friendly. We came in late and they told us to drive safe and would welcome us when we got there. We didn’t arrive until 11 pm and were welcomed by friendly staff.
