Cozy beautiful hotel, waking distance to the Christmas market, shops and restaurants. Basically the hotel is located in The old Quebec town, the view is gorgeous! The staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfy. Con ( in Old Quebec City ) was the parking garage for us because we had a big truck. It doesn’t matter which hotel you stay if you have an oversized vehicle it’s a pain in the butt!

The hotel is well located. Our room was large, bright, and beds were very comfortable. There is a gym and a pool area down the lobby that was really nice and very clean.

The valet service needs vast improvement. The car park is about 100 feet before the entrance of the hotel and no valet waits outside like all other hotels. So I had to park in the street temporarily with my hazard lights on and unload, causing a backlog of drivers behind. As reception is up the stairs to the first floor I had no choice but to get there to find out where the parking lot was, no easy feat when you’ve got walking difficulties as I do. After locating the parking lot, I had to reverse up Palais to the parking lot, as there is absolutely no option to drive around the block. The entire experience was a logistical nightmare. The younger lady on reception who checked my daughter and I in was pleasant, but it was only after we checked out the next day that we discovered a cute little coffee shop by the hotel entrance. It would have been nice to have been told about this. The hotel doesn’t have a bar, or at least one that was made aware to us. The room was clean and comfy, but very small. For one night, it was suitable. We needed a late check out, and the hotel was good enough to accommodate our request, but only until 1pm. Overall it was ok, and I’d probably stay there again, as it is well located, as we come to Quebec City more often now.

Lovely hotel with courteous and helpful staff. The in house breakfast buffet was a bit basic but the coffee- always important - was good. House keeping needed a bit of encouragement as in empty the ice bucket and provide soap but were quite tidy. The greatest negative was having to go up 21 steps from the front street entrance to the lobby. We don’t have mobility issues but I did notice that for some it was a struggle. On inquiry, the staff at the front desk said that a person in need could ask to use the service elevator.

Was very noisy outside late into the night. Couldn’t sleep. Called the front desk and they said it would stop at 23:00. It went on till past midnight. Was hard to fall asleep.

Great location

The hotel has a superb location. It is walkable from the train station which is how we got to the hotel. Also there is a great place just a few doors down from the hotel for breakfast and that street has plenty of shops and lunch or dinner options. Also walkable to go to pretty much any place in Old Town. The restaurant Chez Boulay which has very high quality eats is attached to the restaurant. There is also a deli at the entrance to the hotel for something quick to pick up b ut with limited vegetarian options.
The only thing it lacked (or they said there was a secret way to get to it) is an elevator . But the hotel staff is super helpful and were able to help carry suitcases up the stairs from the entrance.
The room was very quiet and the beds and pillow were the most comfortable I had slept on in a hotel. So much so that I ended up inquiring from the hotel about them so that I can perhaps purchase the pillows at minimum. The bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower. However I would have liked a hook outside the shower for my towel. The amenities were all good as was the water pressure in the shower.
Excellent hotel I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if and when I visit Quebec City again.

First of all. To get to the front desk of this hotel was 23 stairs!!!! I think there should be mention of this somewhere? Certainly was a shock to us. Room became available 10 minutes before check in time 4pm. Not a problem but occasionally there could be exceptions made, especially when they knew because we arrived 3 hrs before check in time. I know rules are rules. Then we had NO luggage stands/racks in our room. Where were we to put and open our luggage??? Service was very good all in all. Many non English speaking employees which was troublesome for us. Workers in hotel business that cannot communicate with guests??? Location excellent. Just a couple issues. Should be no issues. Our one night stay for a 2 double bed room was $480. Again. Should be no issues for that cost. We’d likely stay elsewhere during our next visit to Quebec

Our room on 1st floor overlooked Rue St. Jean. Across the street was an Irish pub with loud music on the sidewalk until 11:30 pm. Single paned windows didn't keep out much sound!!!

Loved the location and proximity to sites. The staff was wonderful stsrting with the bellman and the front desk personnel. Our room was large. The only downside was the noise. Our windows faced the busy street and there was noise at all hours.
I would've liked a second exit from the hotel to the street level, but there's a restaurant there. Taking steps up to he lobby is challenging after a long day of walking and exploring the city.

Great location and walkable to most sightseeing activities. The street next to the hotel has lots of lunch & dinner options. Very safe area with lots of people walking around but surprisingly/pleasently quiet after 10:00.

Hotel was excellent. Only recommendation would be to add coffee/ water in the lobby. If you want that, you need to go out side to bring it back

The properties location was great for all the sights.
We had the buffet breakfast which was lovely.
