Didnt like....carpet was very dirty, hard to shower with one wash cloth and 2 towels with 2 people, women use 2 towels for showers, 1 for hair and 1 for shower. room was very hot at arrival. No instructions given on check out time, or even how to use the tv, would be nice to have basic instructions on how to use tv, check out times, places to eat in the area. Some of the Lights had burned out bulbs.

We liked the fact there was a couch as well as a bed but the carpet was absolutely filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Otherwise things were okay.

Really rough and unkempt property.

First off- the lobby was disgusting. I hope it was stuff salvaged from the other OYO property near this location. Piles of papers, food packaging, equipment was everywhere. And the space that’s a “restaurant” looks like it is full to brim with supplies. It says that there is a pool, and while technically there is, it was completely empty and not in service. Every time housekeeping came through, they took our linens and didn’t leave fresh which meant we had to go request them from the lobby.

The front desk clerk was a total jerk from the time I entered until I left. He became confrontational when I told him not to run Security Code on my cc. He said he was doing me a favor but I continued to protest and return card to me. He demanded I leave at that point and I advised to credit my credit card and he said he could not do that. I left this hotel without a room as it was not possible to locate another hotel in Tyler, Texas at 9 pm and within a 75 miles circumference. We were in Tyler for a funeral but were unable to remain due to this jerk as an employee for oyo. If he is a representative of oyo, they are in trouble. We left Tyler at 10 pm and drove 11 hours or 400 miles back home, missing our friend’s funeral. We have not been compensated for this night due to the arrogance and fighting attitude of this clerk. He was acting like he he wanted to come out and fight over this matter, which I would have welcomed. Totally uncalled for by this incompetent employee. In all of my 60+ years of travel, I have never been disrespected by a hotel staff as I was at oyo in Tyler, Texas. My wife is distraught in missing the funeral.😡

Smelled like cigarettes, the bathroom is not inviting, the soap and shampoo looks like its been there for years. Towels were greyish. Pillow smelled like the pillowcase hadn't been changes. Good price for what we received though. You get what you pay for.

I did NOT take my socks off. I woke up with little itchy bug bites on my legs. I'm thinking bed bugs but who knows. I booked a different hotel, forget whatever it cost me to ditch that rez.

Didn't like 8 dead/dying bugs/roaches in the room that probably came in thru 1/2" gap at door seal. All rooms are nonsmoking is a joke & clerk let me know I was assigned a smoking room (!!). Na

The hotel wasn’t nothing like the link. The hotel trashed out washer and dryer and tub sitting outside. Oh the link says breakfast included but when I get there they tell me no breakfast.

When you check in you also have to put a deposit down beside the cost of the room. The room deodorizer smells terrible. The front office is junky
