We went during the strike, which prohibited the kitchen from being open fully in the bar staying open late, so it wasn’t the best experience in that sense but we had a great time going to the Jelly Roll concert

Room was great! The reception desk tried to give me another room. but when I told him that’s not what I reserved he found the room that I was supposed to get. There was no free parking. But they have a parking garage across the street that charges per night or hour. There is a lot of things to do in walking distance.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are decent, unfortunately the service isn’t great. The receptionist (a women mid 40’s with a tattooed right sleeve) was so rude to me while asking for a replacement room key. Her attitude not only to me but the clients ahead of me was really unnecessary. When you travel for work and are received with such a poor, attitude - it really makes me rethink where I spend my company’s money. Definitely not this hotel….. there are options. Find better personnel.

From the moment we checked in it was issue after issue.The thermostat was not working, our room phone was not working, our bathroom sink was not draining, there was no key or security for the gate to the pool from our room, firepit would not go out and was difficult to start, THEN the workers started to strike, they approached my child when we were coming back to the hotel, the airhorn and fake sirens were heard in our room from the street and my child who has special needs was stressed and scared, then no housekeeping, trash cans full at the pool area and trash was like tumbleweeds blowing through the pool area, no in-room service, no customer service: noone to help with checkout and bringing bags to my car, when I had to go get a lugglage cart, they locked my door and had to wait over 20minutes outside my room with my child for them to open my door to get my luggage, they didn't scan my car properly when I valeted. Front desk was not knowledgeable. I need a huge refund. Not a credit, or a coupon. I need a HUGE refund.

Unfortunately Expedia did not notify us that they were on strike. Workers gathered in front of hotel being super noisy until very late into the night and very early the next morning. No cleaning service daily. Restaurants limited.
Also, some staff members were quite rude when asked questions. And something outside our room made a loud noise all night long every hour on the hour. With that and the strikers we got no sleep during our stay. Very disappointing.

First of all we requested a wine opener & they said they would bring it up, unfortunately I called 3 times & after an hour & half they brought the opener to our room. The TV remote was not compatible with the TV. In the morning the hot water shower valve was not producing hot water. I had a cold shower & my wife did not take a shower. We did not know we need to take photos. I am in the Fairmont Presidents Club & we never experienced these issues.

There is a street fest going on right in front of the hotel. The out door concert was super loud until 11pm. If you want a good night sleep, this hotel is not it.

Check in is at 3. I asked for an early check in at 230 that Sunday afternoon. I arrived at 2:50 and they said the room was not ready. I waited until after 5:30. When I asked about the delay and weren't they expecting me I was told they had a busy weekend. It would have been helpful to be notified of the delay instead of waiting for the room that long...or recognize which rooms are expected for that Sunday night and start cleaning those rooms first.
When checking in at the front desk I asked for this stay to be added to my Hilton Rewards membership. The lady at the front desk told me no because I booked with Expedia. Really? Am I not staying at the Hilton anyway no matter who handled the reservation? I give up.
So waited for over 2 hours for my room then told no I couldn't get reward points for my stay? Perhaps I will stay elsewhere next time.
