The property was actively under construction causing the restaurants to be closed and requiring us to walk out and around the entire property to go from our room to the arcade or waterpark. The waterpark had formerly been included in the cost of the stay, but is now an add on and just as expensive as the off site parks without offering as many amenities. Additionally, children under 48” aren’t allowed on the slides at all which means younger children are restricted to the lazy river and wave pool. For the price, it would be more beneficial to stay elsewhere.

The cleaning staff was so kind and even though there was construction, it was a great stay!!!

Misleading when advertised. This place is a complete DUMP. After staying one night we cancelled the rest of our stay here. Staff awful. DANGEROUS construction going on but nothing is blocked off so you walk right through it trying to navigate the “resort” no amenities were available so I’m confused what the additional resort fees were actually for. The parking lot is a hazard with debris and material my dog injured her paw the first we arrived. (Broken tiles, furniture, glass, bricks, nails/screws and trash littered the parking lot) The worst part is the staff/management don’t care they charge $500 a night for you to stay with nothing safe but to be in your room. First floor rooms view dirty construction sites with ditches unsafe to walk through, exposed rebarb pipes stick up from the ground. So many safety hazards I’m shocked there’s no oversight on this project. Are there no building inspectors or safety guidelines on the cape? no waterpark passes (also under construction). The management didn’t offer any consolation for the 5 star pricing with one star hotel. The owners are just money hungry and appreciate your donation to their $30 million renovations. Warning everyone I know about disgusting sales tactics and completely robbery that is Margaritaville/CapeCod resort

Stayed for 4 nights for dance competition. Hotel very much under renovation. Work on hotel began early in the am. Constantly walking through sawdust ridden hallways. Grounds were a disaster. Outdoor pool closed. Wildly overpriced for conditions. Would not return

Property was under construction and I was never told. Paid extra for first floor courtyard access and it was all torn up and could not access courtyard. Entire facility was under construction should’ve closed to renovate

Property going through renovations. Wished I checked website prior to booking. On site restaurant was closed. Courtyard was inaccessible. Vending machines non-existent. Bright side was room was very nice and there were many restaurants nearby.

The facility is currently under construction which made check-in a challenge. The pool didn't open until 10:00am therefore we were unable to swim before our day outings and it closed at 8pm. The facility also required guests to wear wrist bands at the pool which were visually checked by the lifeguards as soon as you walked into the pool area. While the lifeguards were distracted checking the wrist bands, there were no eyes on the pool full of children. They just finished doing over the rooms which felt nice and clean but there was no lock on the bathroom door and the air conditioner was very loud. We were also awakened multiple times throughout the night by slamming doors and dogs barking. Again I want to reiterate that they are currently doing construction so hopefully they will work out all the kinks over time. Overall, a pleasant stay.

We usually look forward to visiting this place with the grandchildren however, this will likely be our last time there as the prices have gotten unattainable. $587 for a standard 2 bed room w/courtyard views plus an additional $250 for the water park tickets (2 adults 2 children) which they now have the AUDACITY to charge their guests separately. To add insult to injury they didn’t have the upgraded courtyard view room we paid for as they are going through MASSIVE renovations. People were canceling their reservations on the spot as I was waiting to check in. More than half of the property is undergoing significant demolition and the entire place just looks like a run down “has been” the new design and color scheme for the few areas that HAVE been completed do not match the cape vibe at ALL and seem like it was picked by a 5 year old. They should at a very minimum give people a heads up about how poorly of a condition their property is in prior to booking AND they shouldn’t financially ride the backs of the few families who still opt to going in order to get them to fund that disastrous project!

They selling one thing, they give other things.... They are in construction with just room are functional, and they advertise pull, massage room, good space and more... in realite it work like motels...

Great stuff, easy parking, very good location

Recently renovated rooms are so nice. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is close to Route 6. There is still construction going on to other parts of the hotel and the pool was still under construction. I think it will be really nice when all the renovations are complete.

Booked a trip for the outdoor pool. Was not advised that paying over $400 that the pool was closed and water park is $100 extra. The entire hotel was under major renovations. Will be nice in a few months but bare electrical wires , dumpsters and strong paint and odors made it unbearable. Could not visit the kids arcade either because there was someone sanding the wall and it smelled so bad.

The hotel is undergoing a massive renovation. The new guest rooms we stayed in are very very nice. The rest of the hotel is a construction site and completely unacceptable for guests. At check-in they said there was nothing they could do when i requested they, at a minimum, remove the Resort Fee. Nothing was open or available. At check out, a very nice, different person, did remove the resort fee and gave me a discount on the bill. The website is very misleading about the extent of the renovation construction. I recommend not staying there until it is completed. It’s a disaster. I’d have given 1 star to everything, but the new room was very nice. However crossing a construction zone to find it was not ok.

This was our 3rd visit to the Cape Codder and we have always loved it there and thought we knew what to expect, but oh boy had things changed! I wish I had checked the reviews before booking (but who does that when you have stayed at a place multiple times before?). Nowhere on the Expedia listing does it say that the entire property is a construction zone. While our newly renovated room was beautiful and the staff working at the check-in was very nice and apologetic about our disappointment, the rest of our stay was a wash. Previous years, access to the indoor pool was included in the stay and frankly why we came back this year (with very excited kids!) only to find out that this year they have imposed a $50/person fee per day to utilize the pool area. That would have been an additional $200/day on top of our $260/night stay (oh, and the additional $30 “resort fee”, which does not make sense at the moment since amenities are down?). No where in the description does it say that the pool area is no longer included in the stay. The outdoor pool was closed/under construction and the patio area was also a work zone. There was nowhere to hangout with our young kids except for inside our hotel room. I am sure this hotel will be nice once the renovations are done, but this left us with a bad taste in our mouth and it is very unlikely we will come back.

The room was fully remodeling but the property was under restoration complete caos

This hotel was very clean and relaxing. We enjoyed a short drive to the beach from this location which was really nice, you do have to pay for parking.

Lots of construction being done currently and the outdoor pool is closed which they didn’t inform us about. Kids loved the water park and room was nice and updated. Everything you want in the area. Would definitely go back to the water park but don’t necessarily have to stay at the “resort” next time.

In the Expedia website did not make it clear property was under construction. It did at prepay confirmation with no cancellation allowed. I was a little aggravated to drive 17 hours to go to a messy property. However we did get remodeled room. Loved it. Very cliche cape Cod classy yet funky decor. Several noisy room but I bet construction employees. Besides that for a price point of $200-$300 in peak times it was great. I would go back. I think it will be really cool upon completion.

Lot money for one room with nothing included and they no show that in website,another thing the hotel is in renovation they no said that too,no breakfast included,no lunch,no pool,is lot money just for room.no was a good experience with this hotel.

A lot of construction happening and no communication that certain amenities weren’t available, it’s very mis leading from the website. The only reason we came was for the in door water park and toddler section was closed. Very disappointed.

We stayed near the pool area in a suite with plenty of space for the 5 of us. Room was updated however had quite a bit of chipped paint with a few stains on the carpet. Other than that the beds were comfortable, shower was spacious, kitchen area was small but efficient. We enjoyed the ability to separate the main area from master bedroom/bathroom. Would recommend for families looking to have a comfortable space while staying with children.

We arrive and the place is under construction, dirty, a lot of dust, noise and they don't warn you before you go...bad job for not alerting the clients and whether I go or not is my decision.
