Gorgeous facility. Location a little inconvenient, but the view makes up for it. Takes you up and away from the craziness of Rome traffic. Beautiful hotel and would stay here again without hesitation.

I’ve been a guest of the Cavalieri for over 20 consecutive years. The location is outstanding, the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The negatives are that the rooms could be updated, carpets should be removed and replaced with wood floors, rooms should have the option of a walk in shower and the imperial lounge (which is extra) should be open till 11pm like is was in the past . Guests are paying extra for those floors and should have the option to come in there after dinner even if only for drinks and to relax . I think that these small changes would elevate this property to the next level.

Please look at your room location before accepting it. We stayed 2 times in Sept. despite many rooms available, we were placed in a construction zone due to extensive plumbing problems . Drilling, hammering, yellling 7-3 pm. For 3 days. No wonder the bathroom always smelled of urine. No heat in room. Took 15 minutes to get hot water. Last day there, indoor spa/pool drained. Cigarette burns in nightstand and couch armrest unraveling. Paid 700/night and got a view of a massive radio tower, on the other side was beautiful Rome. Why were we treated so badly? Manager comped us 1 night but I left out other bad things. Altogether disappointing, but I wanted so much to love it, it’s mostly beautiful place, but, I’ll look elsewhere for future Rome travels

This is my favorite hotel in Rome and I have stayed in all the finest they have to offer..I just love the location , staff, views and pool is the best ! My only complaint is that they need to keep the imperial lounge open till 11pm like they did years ago. When you come back to the hotel after dinner it’s just lovely to enjoy that and it’s a long time customer preference which should be taken into consideration .

The team are supremely professional, and the grade from the gym to breakfast high. An easy pick if you want simply good quality without any headache.

Such a great way to see Rome and come back to the amazing pool. Nice gym and room was super comfortable and done in a tasteful, old world manner. Only negative is that the lobby decor is not commensurate with the price and caliber of the hotel. They should really give the lobby a facelift as it takes away from the hotel.

Loved this hotel! Loaded with amenities, fantastic food, helpful staff and the room was very clean and large. Excellent outdoor pool area that was just what my family was needing after a couple of crazy busy days in the heart of Rome. We switched hotels to come stay here and relax and we were so glad we did. Would definitely stay here again

It is an amazing hotel with beautiful grounds, tons of original art, large and clean rooms, fantastic restaurants, wonderful staff and a lot to do. While it is outside the main city, it is very easy to get there with their complimentary shuttle or via taxi. It was nice to come back to the hotel after a long busy day and be in a quieter serene environment.

The grounds were very beautiful and the pool area was exceptional. Unfortunately, our room was a little Antiquated. The fixtures within the room were cracked. We had a marble table that was being held together by epoxy. Our other room that we were forced to rent because they said we were not allowed to adults with two small children in a room was Dated at Best. Do not get the view of the antenna side, which is what we were given for two rooms. Be sure to get the view of Rome and the poolside. I would not recommend taking a room with the antenna side as it is audacious.
We found the staff exceptional kind, and did everything possible to make sure we were happy, I do not believe this hotel deserves a five star rating as it needs to be upgraded immediately. I generally don’t write these reviews, but when I do, I want to be as honest as possible. We were told it was a fire code and you were not allowed to have four people in a room so as I said, we rented a second room, but no effort was made to ask us again about having a better room or giving us an option to have one large room that family could all be together. We ended up sleeping separately in two separate rooms, One parent in each room with a child. I am not sure if I would come back to stay at this hotel. I left with a bad taste in my mouth, They’re going to have to do better.

Amazing hotel and amazing staff. Came here from a "boutique" local hotel and was blown away by the level of service. Rooms are gorgeous and maintained extremely well. I doubt you can find a better acommodation in Rome than Cavalieri. It also has a playroom for kids with staff to engage with children.

Excellent service!!! Everyone was very kind and efficient. Truly a great property. Only slight negative is that it’s a 10-15 min drive from the center, but the only other property that comes close and is in the city is the Saint Regis in Rome, which is more than double the prize. I like both. The welder Foria gives more of a resort deal and makes you feel very special and protected with their beautiful and amazing staff and Security.

The hotel and its property were beautiful and the staff was very helpful. There is not a lot within walking distance but the amenities of the hotel itself were more than sufficient for meals and otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rome Cavalieri from start to finish. Check-in was quick and easy in their beautifully decorated lobby. The grounds have a fantastic view of Rome and nice walking gardens with decorative statues. We enjoyed lunch by their beautiful pool (the main pool is quite deep, but there are 2 kid’s pools on the property as well). The breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety of options. We also had lunch at the restaurant near the pool, which was also very good. My daughter (age 10) loved the Kid’s Club, which is complimentary for hotel guests in the afternoon. If you stay here, I would highly recommend taking advantage of the convenient (and also complimentary) hotel shuttle, which drops guests off a short walk from the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon. I would also recommend asking the concierge for restaurant and shopping recommendations - we took his advice and were very happy at the places he mentioned. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and hope to return soon.
