The stay itself was nice and beautiful, and close to all locations we were going. The second night we were there the fire alarm went off a few times and we had to get up. Still unsure of why the alarm kept getting set off.

We didn’t expect too much from this hotel due to the other reviews. The fact that this facility is two stories and doesn’t have an elevator needed to be mentioned somewhere in the description. My husband had a knee revision recently and while he can walk fine now, it was a challenge to drag our luggage and supplies up and down the steps.

I’ve travelled a lot. Stayed in many different hotels with different ratings. This place has the Gaul to charge over 200 usd per night. While the lobby is nice the rooms are atrocious. Very dusty and the bathrooms were very old. Rusty taps, dirty counter, sink and mirrors. Rusty towel racks. Brown water. We had to go out to the store to buy water bottles just to brush our teeth.

It was very outdated and the bathroom was not great, the ceiling tiles were even rusty. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We never received cleaning or even more towels. There was a prank caller that called and woke us up at 2:30 am and was very rude. Called the front desk and they said it had been happening the night before but they couldn't figure out who it was. They called people at least 3 nights in a row. No bar, or alcoholic beverages to buy at the desk. Coffee was very bad.

"The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre."

Checkin and parking were easy but the room was not very nice. Paid way more than it was worth. Could see handprints on the headboard, dirty mirrors, toilet paper roll was a few sheets from empty when we got into the room. Towels were dirty, pillowcases dingy, beds extremely uncomfortable. The lighting in the room was an extremely too bright overhead light and/or two very dim lamps. The breakfast options were all carbs with watered down juice, and breakfast was closed 10 minutes earlier than advertised.

The hotel was clean. But it doesn’t stand by Wyndham name. There used to be other Wingate by Wyndham in same area, which was much better overall. We stayed, but breakfast was not at all good. It was all package and/or processes food with sugar.

The bed was comfy the service was ok. The breakfast was horrible. Don’t put on the website that you’re having all this food and have gross cereal and waffles while there was a line for the waffles that was very deceiving.

The shower dripped, was rusty. The towel bar was falling out of the wall. The mirrors needed updating as they were falling apart. No local TV available, only streaming available with no prior notice to bring passwords for personal accounts. Lighting was very poor in bathroom/vanity area. Freezer was very dirty with dirty water in ice cube tray. No tissues were available.

When we first arrived they messed up our reservation then they told us there was no elevator to bring the luggage to 2nd floor so now we're supposed to log the luggage up the stairs the rooms smell they came and spary.the rooms the beds were bad did not.get a good nite sleep we ask for more towels they said after three days we will get fresh towels we went out and brought new towels it look like there was no one front desk every time i went by ist day we went for breakfast and there was no cream for the coffee no oj. No apple juice no butter for thr pancakes so we went out every day i can go on & on i stay at wingate by wyndham many times this was the worst hotel that we have stayed in and it will be the last time that i will be staying in and we take a couple of vacation a year and i will be letting family & friends not stay at any wyndham i don't no what happened to this hotel chain . The lady at the reception was really rude.The wifi and TV didnt work night #2.Everytime I was asking for something the answer was like I was bothering them.Pete , that was working overnight #2 was very kind.

Quite frankly, this property is not one i would recommend. It is by far one of the worst hotels in the Lake George are. When we arrived we where met with no one at the front desk and had to call for an agent to come. The first had horrible odor stained couch and stained bed sheets. 5he second room was no better as it had the same horrible odor and stained bed sheets. The agent at the front desk did not care nor made any effort to apologize or rectify the situation. It took 3 days to finally speak with a manager who was rude, condescending and has no business working in hospitality. This individual refused to give his name and refused to help make the situation better and instead made it worse by continuously making the situation worse. He refused to the very end to give his name and walked away from us mid conversation. A call to Wyndam hotels resulted in customer service giving us the name of the general manager (MJ Parar) who later told us that the manager was not available until Monday. The hotel to date has refused to acknowledge and speak with expedia and has refused to rectify the situation.
