They are doing updates around hotel. Not sure what they are exactly doing. They need to update AC in all the rooms. I’ve stayed quite a few times here and it’s hit or miss if the AC works. If you’re hot, at least the window will open 6” to get some air in the room. The gym needs some love too.
Restaurant is very good and the staff is very friendly. Bartenders are great.

Not ideal for people who don’t have a car because there’s literally no way to get there without one, but I managed anyway. Only issue was that the power went off in my room around midnight and I was transferred another room but they basically said I was on my own with helping me move any of my stuff to the new room. New room never got serviced so I didn’t have towels. Elevator also malfunctioned a lot the first night.

No reading light, very old dirty bath, refusal to give me any cutlery other than plastic and a cardboard cup for coffeebecause i was 1minute after 11.00am and all the breakfast still laid out. Two staff extremely rude not to mention unhelpful. Was given breakfast as a freebie because bedside lights not working. Old and tired hotel and i will never stay again nor use hotel.com as i paid insurance too! And they both refused my refund after booking was completed nit even ten minutes. A con frankly hotel.com

It was ok for the time we needed it. I would’ve sworn i thought I booked 2 queen but the beds were full. We managed. Restaurant offered buffet or a la cart. They should just say buffet, a la cart is pointless, we didn’t get everything we ordered and we had to ask for it multiple times. For how expensive it is they should just do free continental breakfast. Also the convenient store was not convenient. It was cash only! Not really impressed. Only great thing was it was right off the highway from the GWB.

Air conditioner was not working. Told the front desk and they said they would send someone up right away. We left to go into the city upon arriving back our room was still 80 degrees. We went to the front desk and they gave us a new room. However, same issue. So the room never dropped less than 80 degrees! I believe they either shut the air off throughout the building or they need a new system!

The place was very clean - and it loooks fancy as well the staff were very nice and friendly - room service was excellent clean towels every day

The staff at this establishment were really helpful when i had questions and didn’t hesitate to change my room when i informed them that the ac didn’t work.

Good property with a few hiccups! The first problem was at check-in; I reserved a double and when i arrived i was told the contrary. A double was not available and there will be a surcharge of $25 for a cot. When i showed the employee my reservation, a cot was provided at no extra fee. I felt a little bit gaslighted. Later that night, someone tried to open the door with a key card but the latch was on, when i called the desk service i was told that it was one of the employees checking if the room was empty. Strange because don't they have a system indicating if whether a room is occupied or not? But what do I know? An overall nice hotel but there are some improvement to be made when it comes to customer service.

The one of the elevated quit working on the lobby floor so the other one would not come down, untill some one came down on them and we lost cold water for about half hour other then that fine

My room had terrible AC. Had to call the front desk multiple times during the day to have them check the AC. They would “fix it” and a couple hours later it would stop working again.

House keeping definitely needs improvement. The room was dusty and the bathrooms fixtures were gross. The shower head was full of that pink nasty water build up. The room got so hot at night. I called the front desk to let them know the ac wasn’t working. Maintenance came up and said the hotel purposely has the AC set so that guests can’t change it. He had to remove a panel from the site of the AC to show my husband how he could reset it himself.

Staff friendly and room clean up good
Only issue is that the complimentary shower gel/ shampoo/ conditioner needs to be verified. The shower gel was empty when we checked in and was not verified at clean up

Absolutely nothing, the hotel should be torn down and hire completely new staff. Just the worst.

The window was also not secured, there could be issues with other people, as the window opened with no screen. They had full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, though the conditioner was empty. This hotel is right off the expressway, which was nice, but not easy to get back to from Manhattan as you have to drive thru the neighborhood and around the hotel to the expressway again to get back.

Requiring important maintenance and improvements. The A/C broke in the middle of the night and staff had to come help restart it. Apparently it is a common occurrence. The pool is in repair so it is closed. Only one out of two treadmills is functional. It is OK hotel for the price.

Choose this hotel for the location near Yankee Stadium. No microwave in the room. They stopped serving tea/coffee at 9:30 but failed to mention this at check in.
