I was pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely stay again, more because of the location, attached to the Mexico city MEX airport. Bed was comfortable and the ladies at the reception during check out were friendly and ensured I got on the free shuttle to terminal two.
The man that checked me in wasn't very friendly but it was also the night shift.

wheelchair service excellent, Thank you!

Good option if you are staying at the airport. Be aware that the check-in procedures are ALWAYS very slow and long lines are created... no mater the time of the day.
I have stay here several times but something new that called my attention this time was the music at the restaurant at dinner time... songs full of bad words (English & Spanish), sex oriented and "double sense" definitely no family music... we asked two waiters about the reason of their new "music tendency" but they said it was the captain's " play list"...

At about 200.00 USD per night this was a huge dissapotment. I've stayed here before but this stay was horrible.
The room smelled so badly of sewer we couldn't shower. The hand soap and cream dispensers we're full but the pumps didn't work. The property is mon smoking and yet there were cigarette butts in the windowsill. No hairdryer and to top it off we were in a room next to an emergency exit dood that would not close and banged close every once in a while during the night.
Although the staff was very friendly, the we're very understaffed in the bar area that the poor bartender was filling food and drink orders by himself and it's got seating very spread out.
We've stayed here before but this was a very disappointing stay. I think there are newer places and unless you are leaving from Terminal 1. I'd try something else.

This was good spot for a one night stay due to my very late flight into Mexico City. Clean and comfortable, the only disturbing thing was the steep ramps to get in the main entrance and to the elevator in the North wing once inside. I struggled dragging my heavy suitcase, and couldn't imagine pushing a wheelchair up these ramps.

There was a cricket in my room and no refrigerator but generally it is a comfortable and cozy hotel connected to the airport.

We needed to stay near the airport for an early drive the next day. They were very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good (A la carte or buffet).

The hotel already looks old. The furniture in the lobby is worn out, torn, uncomfortable, and old (you can feel the boards in some of the backrests). Cleanliness is not their strong suit; the power outlets used to be white, but now they are gray/black. The worst part is that they charge as if it were a luxury hotel, but it’s not. There are better options in the city. The only thing worth it is the proximity to the airport, but honestly, next time I’d rather pay for a taxi than stay here.

Overall it was a good 1 night stay. I didn’t have a view, kinda wish I did. I only had the noise of what I think was the parking lot since I often heard the squealing of the tires.

I stayed in the north tower, room 1167. The bed base has rollers the bed slides all over with the slighest pressure, very annoying.
There is a small water leak in the sink.
The emergency exits are not marked.
The thermostat does not work, the room was cold I turned the heat on and it did not work.
The pool and gym are not accesible from the north tower, if you want to use them you have to go down to the lobby go through two corridors and then take a second elevator to the eight floor.
Th ere is hardly any decoration in the room or hallway.
I won't stay in this hotel anymore unless I'm guaranteed a room in the south tower.

Ca,mino Real is the absolute best place to stay the night before and after an international flight from/to Mexico City. I love being there within minutes of arriving. The ETN drops me off directly at the hotel, direct from San Miguel de Allende. Flying in or out, it is an easy walk across the skybridge to decent restaurants, stores and of course flights. My favorite thing is the BEDS. They are incredibly comfortable and after 15 hours of flights from Europe or South Africa, which I do monthly, those beds feel like a miracle. I recommend the Camino Real to my clients and on my websites, visitsanmiguel.com and many others as well. If you are traveling and want a quick, reliable, comfy and close place to stay - look not further. This checks all the boxes (and no one has paid me to say this!) :)

The room was great, the only downfall was it was raining in Mexico city and the waa water leaks. We were on the 8th floor so we got to see the trash cans to collect the water

The redeigned rain shower, with only half wall and no door or curtain, totally wets the bathroom marble floor...leaving it very slippery. From the rotten baseboards i saw, this must happen often. :(

The best thing is its location. I was worried about how I would get to Terminal 1 from #2 but it was incredibly easy. As well, the hotel has an office in the non secure area of terminal 2. Very easy transfer
