The front desk was nice and it was easy to check-in. We got to our room and at first, was very excited. We brought Thanksgiving leftovers and began to heat them up. The dishes were covered in food and black specs, as was the microwave. There was also a deadbug in the middle of the floor and in the cabinet. I begin to clean everything but thought about it, I travel away from my home to get away from cleaning and relax. Everything also had rust spots all over it. I went to the front desk and told them about our issues with the lack of cleanliness in the room. She gave us a new room. We had to pack everything up with two kids and move. The new room was better but definitely not great. There were rust spots everywhere again but this room had part of the popcorn ceiling just hanging there near the balcony. Defintely had a leak at one point and no care was put into fixing the ceiling. As we were leaving, I noticed there was goldfish in the corner... we didnt have goldfish. The view from the balcony was great... our favorite part. Everything needs a huge update.

Check in was quick and the lady working the front desk was genuinely nice. The room was a good size and clean however the bathroom floor was dirty. Not bad enough for me to complain but there was medicine or something spilled and dried on the floor. We had a balcony ocean front room and the view was breathtaking. We will definitely be back. The biggest negative for us was the parking situation. It sucks. You have to park across the street. We found that lot was usually full so we had to park a block down across the street in an overflow lot.

The access to the beach was amazing, staff was wonderful, our bed were comfortable, parking was good. Cabana Bar was pleasant. At first check-in we weren't sure, we where glade we stay. Our stay was 6 days.

Room was horrible even after I called them and asked if it was newly remodeled. It WAS NOT!!!! Dirty carpet, dirty sheets, stove and curtains. Cockroaches in the sink. Smelled very old not well maintained at all! They would not give a refund neither partial or full I was out $500 plus dollars. They only offered us 2 free drinks! DONT STAY HERE!!!!

Location beautiful beach great. Tiki bar good enjoyed free drinks. Breakfasts well done. Room spacious. Found roaches Stove needed replacement. Coils broken and burners not flat didn’t use

Floor was filthy.. Feet turned black walking barefoot in room. Bathroom... Toilet couldn't flush anything without flushing several times. The spigot on the sink is way too short. Didn't understand why no curtain or door on shower.. Floor gets soaked.

The tub faucet had a steady stream of hot water that could not be turned off. When the bathroom door was opened, it was like a sauna, as the water continued to run. Also, the sink has metal tube legs that are not straight to hold the sink up. All the Best Western facilities we have been to have vanities. The balcony railing needed to be secured with more bolts. Maintenance. Repaired.

Room was Dirty, Cockroach was seen by me on the Bed, luckily I was able to kill it, Wasn’t able to sleep the rest of trip worrying about bugs. Wouldn’t recommend staying There!

The location is good. The pictures online are old pictures of the hotel. Very old and many updates needed. The pools were cold, no heated pool on site. Our door was very hard to open and close. The A/C unit didn’t work that great but it wasn’t to hot this trip. Breakfast is served by staff. Our friends we went with saw a roach their last day. There is a mini kitchen in the rooms. Stove and mini fridge. Bartender at the tiki bar was very cool

Overall good not great. The parking is horrible. There is like 5-6 regular spots and a few handicap places. Had to park across the street everytime. Luckily they have additional parking. The location is good. Close to everything. The view was great. Nice lazy river and pool. The building is outdated but decent. Very clean room. Staff does well. Plumbing issues as well. Over 3-3.5 out of 5. Thanks

While the room was clean and an attempt had been made at updating it -- the bed was really nice -- this hotel has seen better days. The exterior is in poor condition and the pool quite tiny. We had booked a 2-night stay but ended up leaving after 1 night. It simply wasn't what we were looking for.

Although our room was clean, the building really needs some repairs and upgrades. Our sliding door did not lock, there was no place to put things in the shower and there was a lot of old water damage on walls, etc. Staff was helpful and friendly and our room was services daily.

Booking through hotels.com made me think I was getting an ocean front room which I wanted because it was a 31 anniversary trip. But when we got there we found out our room was in a separate building with no balcony and no ocean front view.

the staff was great and the rooms were clean and well kept.The only things I did not like was we did not have a balcony,was not an ocean front view,had to stay at one of the buildings that we had to walk to main building for things,bathroom was extremely small.Thought we were going to have a balcony we could go out on and sit and relax with a drink.Room was nice bed was comfortable and everything else was fine.Just disappointed in a few things like I mentioned.Thought it should have been a little less for our stay because it did not have some amenities we thought it should nave.Staff very friendly and helpful would do what you needed them to do.Breaksfast was very good.

Lazy river and pool was smaller than expected. Toilet didn't always flush properly. Toilet handle had to be held down. More attention needs to be given to skimming bugs out of pool.

The room was nice, the outside needs a little work the room was quiet and peaceful except when the fire alarm went off at 1030pm and the entire hotel was evacuated due to an air compressor smoking. But overall good stay. The pool and lazy river wasn’t as big as we expected the pictures made it look better online but overall not bad

The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. I don't know what can easily be done about the old, old property itself, but an overhaul would be welcome.
