I UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR POLICY WAS FOR DOGS TO ONLY BE ON YOUR FIRST FLOOR BUT I NOTICED A GUEST HAD A LARGE DOG ON THE 4TH FLOOR IN ROOM 409 DURING MY 3 NIGHT STAY ALSO SMOKERS ARE STANDING OUT SIDE OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF FIRST FLOOR AND THE SMOKE IS BLOWING INTO THE HOTEL AND YOU HAVE NO SMOKE CONTAINERS FOR THERE BUTTS! NOT GOOD FOR YOUR GUESTS AND I INFORMED THE MANAGER ABOUT THE DOG IN ROOM 409. HAVE A GREAT DAY

Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel property itself is in disrepair. Most of the door locks I encountered were half broken and you were never sure if you were going to get in! The room had a musty smell, the toilet ran all night and the tub faucet felt like it was ready to fall off.

The process for paying for a room, same-day was terrible. Was forced to use a Third-Party (Hotels.com) for an additional $50 above cost of room. No need as my credit card guaranteed the room regardless of how I booked it. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again

We Chose this hotel because of our previous stay experience. It was such a great stay, so peaceful, beds were so comfortable, & the room was so Clean! The staff was also very kind & helpful. This time around 11/8 &11/9 2024 We learned at the WORST of hours (1am -2am, 4-4:30, & 6-7am) that dogs were allowed to bark NON-STOP & weren't told they need to have the courtesy of others & keep their dogs quiet! Then to Top it off these dogs were allowed to peruse freely around the breakfast food a good while until someone finally complained of the barking and sanitation! Then the staff scaredly spoke them and they were so rude back. We had never experienced this before at the Larkspur Landing Hotel or from their staff. I was staying due to medical reasons & this did not bring peace to my situation, but more stress & less Sleep. Which was not good for the health of my procedure. I'd definitely recommend asking ALL the questions about any concerns you may have in regards to the needs or expectations you may have or need prior to staying here or anywhere for that matter. Especially when it comes to pets!

This hotel is easy to get to off the freeway. They are always very kind and courteous check-in is a breeze. They have a nice little breakfast for you to get going in the morning easily. Rooms are always clean and in good repair. Whenever we come to visit family in this area, we stay here

This was our third or fourth stay at this Larkspur Inn. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It is our go to option when we visit family in the Sacramento area. It is clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. We like having a kitchen where we can brew our own coffee and have toast and fruit. A free continental breakfast is offered as well. Staff is friendly and pleasant. It is a little older and could use some decor updates but there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it and it suits our needs. We will return to it on our next trip to see family.

Checked in pretty late and just wanted to get ready for bed but when we got to our room there was a strong unpleasant odor. Called the front desk and then walked back down to get a keys to a different room. New room was ok. Carpet in the hall was stained and loose...this is a pet friendly hotel but that presents its own challenges. Hotel offers a continental breakfast that is pretty nice but someone needs to tell ALL hotels that non-fat yogurt is disgusting...need other options. The breakfast area is quite small...might have to grab and go or take things back to your room. The complimentary cookies were good and available even late but avoid the free coffee if you are a coffee lover. Bed was ok but I've definitely had better. This hotel has good bones but needs some upgrades. Also may need to add filters to the air conditioning to avoid sucking in unpleasant odors from nearby fast food restaurants. Based on pictures and descriptions on their website I was disappointed what I saw when I arrived. Like many hotels they are charging for parking (although they have very little parking).

This rating is not so much for Larkspur Landing as it is for Hotel.com. My reservation was never sent through so when i got there i had no room, and they were fully booked for that weekend, so i had to hurry up and find another Hotel to book with! I also paid for the protection plan but wasn't able to get thru at 11:30pm, and i had just completed a 6 hour drive from Southern California.

The hotel was great, room was great my overall experience here for my first time was great. The only hiccup I had was the pillows were too soft and I can’t use soft pillows, because I don’t sleep well that way.

The pros: the room is huge with a full sized kitchen and full-size refrigerator. The cons: that full-size refrigerator is really noisy. Also, the TV is located to the side of the bed, which means, to watch it you get a stiff neck very quickly!

This Hotel had been rated as "excellent", on several sites. The room was clean and spacious, but everything was in disrepair. The carpets in the hallway had holes in them, and were coming up from the ground. The shower fixture was hanging out of the wall and not secured. Paint was peeling from the bathroom walls, were there had been a leak previously. There was no lock on the bathroom door. The free breakfast, was a "continental breakfast", were everything was out of packages. Not good. Overall, it was an ok, clean hotel, not an excellent one as rated on this site.

Horrible customer service, noise and dirty. The manager is no help. I left the property a day early and didn’t even use the second night. I slept in my truck instead. The front staff allowed for early check out a day prior and then was rescinded when they realized hotels.com was paying the bill and they had the choice to keep the money. Blamed the refund on hotels.com and not being by their problem. Will never use this brand property again and considering not using hotels.com again.

The stay was fine and the staff was friendly. There was a startling occurrence. As I was watching TV, someone opened my door. The hook lock stopped the door. I went over to check it out and there was a man trying to get in. He apologized and said he was actually in the room next door. I asked how did his key open my door which he didn’t know. He went on his way to the room next door. Not sure how his key opened my door.
