The ladies at check-in were super nice and helped me find a place to eat dinner that was within my search request.

Hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable. Climate control is by window cooler and only worked well when it sensed movement so room became stuffy at times during the night. Staff was friendly and breakfast was adequate. Exterior of Hotel property needs management attention. Huge sunken hole in driveway that needs to be fixed. Hole is deep with potential to damage tires. Lighting in back of property not adequate. One parking lot light only which is obscured by trees provides inadequate light at night posing potential risk of tripping on blacktop. Sign on pool door in back is only access from back of property but key does not open door. Front desk says door is permanently locked. This is very misleading and sign needs to be placed by management indicating no access. Having to walk all around the property in the dark poses risk of tripping. Building could benefit from lights on exterior of building to provide better guest safety. Exterior of property not up to Marriott standard in my opinion.

We previously stayed at a Fairfield hotel and loved the experience. This location was a smaller version of it and was fine. The only thing i didn't expect or like, were the extra fees like a parking fee and other small fees. This was disappointing.

Had booked a room that was on second floor but elevator was broken. Worked with staff and got a ground floor room instead.

Made a reservation for this Fairfield Inn and upon arrival we did not have any rooms. Had to stay at a different motel in another city. No compensation or discount was offered for this inconvenience and no explanation. I have stayed at Marriott hotels over the years and never had this happen before. We will not be staying at Marriott brand hotels in the future and am very disappointed in this experience and lack of remorse.

Other than the rude guest in line in front of me, excellent! The poor front desk clerk had the patience of Jobe. He maintained an air of professionalism even tho the adults wouldn't controll their kids.
The stay was great. And the breakfast next morning was good also.

Worst experience ever!!!!
I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. I chose it because of its proximity to Sequoia National Park and made sure to book at least a month in advance. However, after completing a stargazing tour late at night, I arrived at the hotel around 12 AM and encountered a series of continuous inconveniences.
Firstly, there was no one at the reception. We called continuously for 20 minutes before a staff member finally opened the door. After presenting my confirmation, they informed us that they were overbooked and could not accommodate us, despite our valid confirmation and itinerary number. All of this happened at 1 AM. They explained that the hotel had been fully booked since noon and had no available rooms.
Incredibly, as they were telling us this, another family arrived and was promptly checked in. We were left shocked and confused. The receptionist claimed the hotel was fully booked since noon, yet they magically had a room available for this family.
Feeling helpless, we politely asked for assistance in finding available rooms at nearby Marriott hotels. The receptionist responded rudely, claiming not to know or be able to help. As our group frantically called nearby hotels, the receptionist refused to make any effort to assist us, displaying an uncooperative and rude attitude throughout.
Fortunately, we managed to find a hotel 40 minutes away from the Visalia hotel where we finally stayed the night.

I booked online and the price I was given was inflated at the hotel I was charged 12 a day for parking that was not listed online. We asked for clean towels when we left at 7:30am when we returned at 9pm no towels had been provided. Will probably never stay there again.
