Description is decidedly deceiving. Not my idea of a country park hotel! Decor basic and tired. Rooms were small, bathrooms basic and water not overly hot in shower, water stains on ceiling. Tv hung on wall had cables hanging down. The bar was awful sofas and chairs have seen better days and you were practically sitting on the floor. In dire need of refurbishment. Meals on Sunday stopped at 8 and we had been travelling for 4 hours menu choice limited to burger or wraps, etc. The room was clean just basic. Would be okay for a brief overnight stay but not my idea of a relaxing country break hotel.

Excellent hotel. Dinner In The restaurant was outstanding and rather large portions. Good choice of items at breakfast. All staff friendly and attentiv. Bedroom and bathroom spacious very clean and comfortable. Free use of spa/leisure facilities. Hotel set in beautiful peaceful grounds.

Everything was great, can’t fault the staff and the service, can’t fault the hotel as it’s beautiful, the only problem i had was i was staying in room 65 and the hallway door woke me up numerous times throughout my stay with people coming and going which made it difficult to sleep well. With this being said, i will definitely be returning on my next visit but hope i get a quieter room next time

This hotel is really dated and needs a deep clean. Very disappointed in the room - glad we had only 12 hours there. Bathroom grubby with layers of dust/ dirt. Found rubbish and underwear under the single bed - which was reported to reception and dealt with. No apology given however. We definitely expected a better experience. The bar area wasn’t clean, sticky table and sofas. . We won’t stay here again . The room was worth half of what we paid. We had an early start and reception was closed, so unable to speak to anyone about our stay.

Beautiful grounds, good location near Bury Town and the Market. Good Food and services. Nice fitness center and pool. Mostly this is a wedding venue. Not quiet on a summer weekend. This didn't really bother us, but the tiredness of the rooms, the age of the mattresses and the overall age of the in room facilities was poor. The coffee in-room is terrible!!
The staff and service however - amazing! We would come back just for that. The Breakfast is wonderful!!
