Was fine for a cheap few night stay. Bed was comfortable. Wasn't the most clean place. Breakfast was not available. Good location.

The room was descent enough for a night sleep. The property is just off the highway. The hotel could use some updates. The refrigerator was leaking. The hotel advertised breakfast at 6:30 and there was no breakfast that time. We had to check out early and was hoping to grab a bite before driving. No one at the desk. The breakfast area was a small counter and you could see coffee spill stain on the wall. The sitting area for breakfast was a couple of tables across from the check in counter. Just provide some refreshments and snacks but don’t say you provide free breakfast.

Beautiful town to visit in summer.
Economy Lodge is walking distance to the historic downtown and Grand Canyon Railroad station.
Rooms were fine.
Breakfast was pathetic, even for a continental as cryptically advertised on the web site (toast, yogurt, cold cereal, juice). Dining area is small and cramped at the entrance. Their coffee machine was broken and they had no alternative set up! Said to make coffee using the small machine in the room (one cup at a time). That coffee was bad. McDonald’s across the street was better. Coffee shop in the historic district was good (named Brewed Awakening).

Sorry to say, I got sick and couldn’t travel. But I’m sure it would have been wonderful. When I’m recovered I will try it again.

First the bed had no fitted sheets so we ended up on the dirty mattress because it wouldn’t stay on. The song clogged and we had to wait for it to drain to use it again. The room stunk like cigarettes which is ironic because there’s no smoking allowed. The pillows are like bricks. Bugs in the room. No locks on the windows and can be fully opened so we took our things with us both days.
The staff and the family that run it are nice but they clearly live there.

We were very disappointed when we pulled up.We booked 3 hotels for 3 separate nights all in the same price range. The other 2 were nice, big lobbies, big rooms, big breakfast . This hotel and lobby were very depressing to look at.The day we arrived, the advertised rate on our GPS was much lower than what we had paid. I showed the front desk the current advertised rate, but he said he could not offer us the lower rate, which I felt was not very good customer service. We had not paid for the room in advance, so I am certain he could had of accommodated us at the much lower rate if he wanted to. compared to other hotels we had stayed at for the same price, I felt taken advantage of. The room was very small, and set with windows facing the main street, so very noisy. Entrance is old and depressing. Breakfast minimal.I would not have complained at the lower rate because in my opinion, that should have been what the room was worth.

My first impression was the hotel looks very shabby inside and out. I thought it looked dirty but it was the disrepair. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very clean. The bathroom was clean but due to everything being so old and outdated it didnt look clean. The lack of building maintenance s a real turn off. Walls everywhere need paint and repair.
Outside is also not kept up.
I do have to complement the young gentleman who checked us in. He was very welcoming and helpful.
There was limited selection for the breakfast items.

Bare bulb for bathroom light fixture, one lamp switch broken, very limited breakfast selection. Minor issues, but didn't feel the quality of stay was worth the price paid.
