4 night stay Almost $500, no microwave, no coffee maker in room television so high on table almost touching ceiling, construction going on with hotel trying to upgrade it , terrible condition, breakfast consisted of a store bought box of 4 donuts to choose from, staff did the best they could but needs to be taken off Expedia site, Expedia should reimburse me for the money It cost me . Area unsafe too!!

They would not accept my Expedia Reservation (#72753875128819) dispited it being confirmed. They stated their was a problem with your credit card being rejected and instructed me to contact Expedia. I was forced to use my personal credit card and the Manager still hasn't responded to my request to speak to her for an explanation. I am due a refund of $314.38.

The rooms smell like smoke and are in pretty poor shape. The staff was very nice and changed our room upon request. The second room also smelled, but not as bad. All of our clothes, even the ones we never took out of our bags, smelled when we got home. I would only stay here if you have no other choice.

It's an absolute crime that you punch in "lodging" in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, in Expedia and this Econo Lodge is the only property that pops up, as if it is the only hotel in the city (which it is not). Decrepit, aging hotel property under re-construction, in the midst of still serving guests (pardon the bags of cement and construction materials in the lobby, right beside the check-in desk. Filthy hallway carpeting, sub-standard rooms where the TVs mostly don't work, no answer at the front desk telephone when calling for directions in how to find the property (which the front desk clerk later said she didn't know anyway -- look it up yourself). Sketchy neighborhood, decrepit and forlorn downtown. A dismal experience. I'll be contacting the Econo Lodge corporate office for a refund of the $139 it cost to stay in this dump, as well as submitting a well-documented letter, with photos.

This place stated that they were under renovation via a paper sign in the elevator, that was pretty faded. Been there a bit. The hallway smelled absolutely disgusting. The carpet was unimaginably dirty. It was hot and humid in the hallway. I would have rather chew on glass than walk barefoot on any floor in this place. There were stains all over the bathroom. Parts of the wall were falling off. The shower was a joke. There was more water leaking out of the shower head than spraying out of it. The room was disgustingly hot when we arrived. Their breakfast is laughable. Coffee, icky orange juice and a little danish or bag of muffins. This place did not deserve any of our hard earned money. There were 2 individuals sitting outside of the hotel on the curb, smoking cigarettes. One wasn't even wearing shoes. It was completely unpleasant entering and exiting. We were in bind because we needed a pet friendly hotel. I do NOT recommend this place in any way, shape or form. The outside of the building looks like it's in a third world county. I regret staying here. It was an absolute dump. Who knows if we picked up anything there! This part of town seemed very shady. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

About what I expected. Not a bad room for the night. I did get charged twice for the room. Had booked and already paid on Expedia. Got hit again for the room charge when I presented my credit card at check in for incidentals. Disputed charge with credit company and got a refund.

They do not have Wi-Fi so know that also the breast is two cupcakes I understand it’s two star yiu get what you pay for but, it’s very misleading. When asking any questions from the afternoon staff they’ll whisper right in front of you third shift was a lot more polite and help about the area would not recommend you stay here just cough up a few more bucks and get a better experience somewhere else

The bed was clean but there were so many other issues with the room. Pubic hair and dirt around the outside of the tub. Brown stains all over the white shower curtain, brown stains all over the white curtains, green spaltters on the walls, dirty side table, exposes sharp screws, no TV remote.

Front desk worker is very nice and helpful but clearly could use some staff to take care of the rooms
