Construction was ongoing from 9am-5pm which was not informed before booking. First unit was full of dust as it was just above the actual unit they were working on. I took a photo and they relocated me. As well when signing in found out I would have to pay extra for my parking at the hotel.

The hotel is older. Poor paint job in room. However, it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We liked that the room didn’t have carpet.

Nice hotel because it’s close to some good restaurants and bars. The climate control made weird noises at night. People running around at 330 am you can hear them hollering in the hallways.

Lobby had a smell of dirty water and cockroaches in our room.
Stores near the hotel were all closed except for the gas station and a dirty convenience store.
Hotel offered to wave the $15 parking fee and changed our room for the inconvenience of the cockroaches in the room. Won’t stay again

This property was ideal for my needs. It has good transport links via metro and buses. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Microwave and fridge in room are a good option for light snacks etc. The breakfast was handy but limited choice. The hotel is in need of a revamp particularly in rooms, triple glazing on front windows to cut down highway noise. A bonus of beautiful sunsets at the front over highway looking towards the right.

As a seasoned hotelier and business owner within the hospitality industry, I have had the opportunity to experience a wide array of accommodations across the globe. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal stands out as one of the most grotesque hotel experiences in my five decades of traveling.
From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this establishment fell far short of the standards I hold dear in the realm of hospitality. Upon observation, it seemed that the only other guests occupying the premises were individuals from abroad, presumably without steady income & social support.
Throughout my stay, I felt profoundly unsafe within the confines of the hotel. The ambiance did not resemble that of a typical lodging; instead, it exuded an aura of desolation and neglect. Despite my exhaustion from travel, I found it challenging to rest adequately due to a myriad of disturbances. Disconcerting noises emanated from various sources, including the roof, disrupting any chance of peaceful sleep.
Venturing outside offered little peace of mind, as the surrounding environment emitted an unsettling vibe. It was clear that the frequency of occurrences was far from ideal, further exacerbating my discontent with the overall experience.
However, amidst the myriad of disappointments, one silver lining emerged—the receptionist was helpful and friendly the only positive thing about this hotel, I have to say. Would not recommend this hotel in even my dream!

The hotel was ok for the purpose of the stay. The breakfast was basic and could be improved. The parking lot was like an ice skating rink.
