Really great dog-friendly hotel in a super location in Portland. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel and staff were great. We used the valet , had drink in the bar and visited front desk. Everyone was great.

The valet parking included was a nice touch and very convienient with a text to retrieve the car option. Roomservice was slow and they forgot about us on two different occasions, but the food was good and got there after several calls.
The hotel itself is very nice, the room did show signs of use: scratched floors, worn tables and furniture, damaged wall plates and grout in the bathroom coming off. This could be improved being we stayed in what was the best suite avaliable. But these were little inconveniences that overall didn't detract much from a good experience in what ammounted to be a clean and nice room. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace was nice; it warmed the room well. The bathroom and jacuzzi tub were nice, with efficient water pressure a nice hot water. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would likely come again given the other options in the area.
Portland itself is a city suffering from a homelessness problem. The streets were full of people camped out and if you made a wrong turn or tried to navigate a few blocks from the tourist area you run the risk of coming face to face with hords or drugged out people living on the streets, which can be a bit intimidating. I would recomend not walking at night and staying close to the water if you do. Businesses need to speak out and get the city to do something about this problem before it runs off all the tourists.

The hotel is wonderful. They seemed very short on staff. Coffee and tea stations were sparsely stocked. Always out of coffee. The menu for dinner at the restaurant could be greatly improved and have a few more offerings. The breakfast staff was inexperienced and very understaffed. Other than that everything was great, as usual

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. They were able to offer advice on local shops, restaurants and sights in the area. They gave great recommendations. We were able to enjoy time in the garden and the fireplace seating outside was a nice little spot to have a beverage and chat with new friends. We loved to access to the pantry area and the valet was quick and efficient. We are coming back and will stay at this hotel.

The hotel and the room were both lovely. The overage fees were not, I paid almost the cost for another night.

We enjoyed our stay but room maintenance could have been better. The knob to bedside lamp was missing and the lamp was difficult to turn on and off. Also, the bathroom door squeaked loudly which was especially annoying at night. The location was perfect and close to the harbor and restaurants. The hotel provided a daily $35 food and beverage credit for on property purchases.

While this hotel is extremely centrally located to everything you can hope for, that’s about where it end.
The elevator was broken the whole time and considering you have to go up two flights just to get to the lobby, it’s a bit insane they don’t have someone down there to bring your luggage to the room. I then had to take my luggage up 2 more flights to get to my room with no assistance offered.
I will say the service at the hotel is outstanding beside that. Everyone is very kind and prompt, especially the room service. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. The insane amenity fee is what really upset me. I would think they would wave it due to no elevator but I still paid an extra $170 for the coffee and pastries they set out each am. Not worth it, rather just have a coffee maker in my room.

You are paying for location here. And the location is great, with very easy access to Old Port and a huge boon. BUT, you are PAYING. The $45 a day valet service to have your car parked at an unmonitored exterior public lot is egregious. As is the $35 amenity or resort fee.
The staff were wonderful both in attitude and capability. Food was solid and the bar and outdoor area with the firepit were great. The lobby was great to laze about with coffee.
The room was meh. Clean and comfortable but the bathroom had poor lighting and no fan. And the laminate flooring looks, feels and sounds cheap.

Fantastic location. Beautiful hotel - clean and very comfortable. Hint!! No need to order breakfast if you only need a continental. This lovely hotel offers floor service (not at lobby) - which has pastries, yogurt, fruit, drinks, and more… wonderful!

Exploitative. Hotel is already quite expensive for the stay, however, upon arrival they will further charge you 45$ per night to park your car and an additional 35$ ‘amenity’ charge for their hotel - this is an additional $80 a night they squeeze out of you. The 45$ ‘valet’ service is also not valet, as they just hand the key to you and tell you where your car is which on occasion was in a car park across the street.
Hotel is in a good location and decent condition but feels like they are trying their best to exploit and overcharge people. There are other hotels in same area which are much better value.
