Great place to stay, especially during the week when prices are reasonable. 1/2 star off for not honoring request for 2nd floor room even though plenty of rooms were available (first floor is below ground and much colder). Another 1/2 point off for the continental breakfast. It's great if your there when they open it, but they leave the muffins, bagels and bread out in open air so they are dry and stale tasting after about 1 hour of opening. Restaurant is very good. Cozy atmosphere.

I don't want to be too harsh with this review, but I did get the sense of an absentee landlord charging maximum rent.
This place is old and needs an update. When you walk in the door, it kinda smells like an old carpet. The room was wanting. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door (very odd) that wouldn't stay closed. You had to throw a washcloth between the door and the wall as you were closing it so that it wouldn't slowly open. The heat/AC was the biggest upgrade needed. As I eventually found out, though it looks like you have an individual unit which services your room, actually, it's controlled centrally and it's either heat or AC (not both) and apparently the thermostatic sensor to turn it on and off is located in the front office area. For us, it was heat only, so at night we opened the window. Then the next day, when we did want heat, it wouldn't turn on until the front desk fiddled with the location of the sensor. Has the owner not heard of a ductless heating/AC system for each room, like every other hotel/motel has? It would have been nice to have a coffee maker or microwave. To be fair, they don't advertise that they have these items. As far as the breakfast, I'm not a big breakfast person, so I mostly just ate the yogurt, but if you do like breakfast, you will find very little to satisfy you here unless you like filling up on hard boiled eggs.

It was a one night stopover visiting friends
It was a warm night and I did not find a thermostat to lower heat
Your staff was very helpful but I did not contact them regarding heat
I would definitely return if visiting off season

This was the best Inn we stayed at out of 5 total on our trip to New England. The host was most accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful stay. He even made homemade apple strudel in the morning - so good! The breakfast overall was great too. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the Killington area!

Cozy hotel. The food was pretty good at the bar. The breakfast was lacking. We purchased jimmy dean frozen breakfast for the second day. There is not a microwave or coffee maker in the room. There was a microwave in the meeting room you can use. We were in the king suite and I would not categorize it as a suite as it was the pretty small and no extra amenities.

Shower floor was slippery and there were no safety grab bars. The bed was wore of a torture rack than a bed; it was tiled to the side and lumpt.

For my first time staying in Killington, Vermont, it was wonderful. Relaxing atmosphere, JP, Myles and Al greeted me by name at check-in. Room 312 was a beautiful room with a great porch, comfortable beds and it was very clean.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, JP. Go Giants!

We loved our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Where this lodge shines is the staff. They are amazing. Attentive, welcoming, and helpful are just a start.
The one and only constructive bit would be that the showers are extremely slippery and could benefit from a grip on the floor or a handle on the inside.

Good central spot to visit the Green Mountains (or even better, to go skiing in winter). Compared to European or other skiing resorts Killington lacks a (charming) village/town center.

The room, beds and bathroom were spotless. Super comfortable bed/bedding and pillows. There was a mini fridge in the room and an air purifier. A/C worked well. Blackout shades in good condition.
There is not a coffee maker or microwave in the room. The continental breakfast was minimal. Nothing hot, only apples for fruit. No bananas. Only protein were hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Maybe it was minimal becuase it was off season but next time, i'll skip it or go into town.
Staff was fantastic. It's an old un-upgraded Inn right at the mountain so if you don't mind rustic, thin walls but have a comfy bed and clean room. It's good! I'll be back for sure.

We stayed for one night. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and great customer service. The distillery on-site had great drinks and food. The waiter and bartender were awesome. Room was clean and what we expected. The property was in perfect proximity to mount killington and the adventure center.
